--Present time—

A week has passed since Alyssa recovered and went out the hospital. Dennise wouldn't let her go to her work. She said Aly needs to take a leave from work, for a month. Well, Aly couldn't do anything about it, now that her best friend's acting like a strict mom to her.

She's been slacking in her condo unit, just playing online games and stuffs. She loves DOTA by the way. Her best friend, on the other hand, has been really weird too, for her. Dennise hasn't left her side since the day that she cut her wrist. This made her feels weird. This worried Aly more and more each day. She knows Dennise left her obligations and works to do on the outside world just to tail her and act like a mom around her.

That's why she thought about an idea.

"Eey Pands!" tawag niya kay Dennise. Dennise is doing all the cleaning on her unit right now. She said Aly needs to take a complete rest. Aly felt weirder about it, weirder because Dennise has been pampering her too much.

"Yep Baks! Anything wrong? You want something?" sagot naman ni Dennise na nakangiti kay Aly. Dennise is peeking on the door to see Aly, sweat is all over her.

Aly stood from her swivel chair and took a stretch. She's been playing DOTA all day.

"I'm leaving." Aly said. She took her towel and headed to the bathroom.

"Hey we-we-we-wait up!" Dennise shouted as she ran towards Alyssa. "And where on earth are you going?" Dennise forehead creased.

"Uhmm... Ok. You know what Dr. Lazaro? I know what you're doing. You're obviously tailing me and guarding me in my own condo unit just to make sure I'm not gonna do anything stupid again." Aly took a deep sigh. "But! Rest assured Dr. Lazaro! I am not going to do anything stupid again! I promised that to you days ago, didn't I?" Aly messed Dennise's hair and smiled to assure her best friend.

"Baks... No... I'm not gonna go anywhere. Plus, you haven't agreed with my proposal yet. You have to see Dr. Cainglet. It is for your own good. She's my friend too. She'll treat and counsel you well." Dennise answered Aly, her eyes filled with worry.

Dr. Cainglet is a psychiatrist and Dennise's childhood friend. Dennise has been waiting for Aly to tell her about that day that she cut herself but Aly's not mentioning anything about it. She knows her best friend is in a state of depression and she badly wants to help Aly get over her depression. She would never want her best friend to snap again and do some stupid things. This is her reason too why she's been with Aly since the incident. In short, she's been guarding and spying Aly because she's scared her best friend would cut herself again.

Aly slinged her towel on her right shoulder and massaged her nape with her right hand. Her left hand on her hip. She took a deep sigh again. "Pands... I know that I'm depressed and I know that you wanna help me. I'm grateful that you are here and you worry about me. But Pands, you've been pampering me for days now and I'm pretty sure you've missed and taken a lot of things for granted already, your work, your family, your colleages, your fiance', your wedding thingy...... All because of me, all because you're guarding me in here. Pands I'm not gonna kill myself again. I promise you that again. Please trust me. And about your proposal... Ok. I'm going to see Dr. Cainglet but just after my trip ok?"

"Wait. What trip?", asked Dennise.

"Ahh. I said I'm leaving right? Well... I've decided that I'm going on an unplanned trip all over the country or whatever to do my bucket list. Hehe. In that case, I'll go alone to refresh my life, meet new places and people and you can finally go back to your normal life." Aly smiled and messed Dennise's hair again.
