CHAPTER 1- JUST, MY BEST FRIEND (prologue)

--------Aly's POV

Oh it's Sunday. Great. Just great.

"Kung minamalas ka nga naman." And I sighed.

.... My eyes wandered around my dim room. I shifted my sight into my alarm clock and realized that it's 4:02 am, February 28. (gawa-gawang date lang po ito)

I stepped out of my bed and fixed it, headed to the kitchen and made my coffee. I smirked as i thought about my brilliant plan for today. Talkng about my plan...or should I say, "The plan"? This is a perfect day for me to initiate "The plan". Why? Because it is my friggn birthday today. Let's just say, my plan is my present for my own birthday.

Like the my usual days, this day is as unfortunate as ever. You know why? It's simple. Because... I AM STILL ALIVE. And I've always dreamt about being "not alive" or not to have existed at all. It may and i may sound ridiculous but yeah... I'm better off dead. That'd be easier. Well, at least it'd be easier for me. Or maybe for the people around me.

After I finished my coffee, I went out of my unit and went for a run.

Den's POV

I woke up. And it's Sunday! Taadaah!!! Yess!

And a thought about my bestfriend immediately entered my mind which made me more excited. That's why I'm grinning right now. I don't really know why but for my past years with my best friend, the thought of being with her or doing something for her that can make her happy makes me happy too. I mean really happy.

It's 4:13 am... Good. Just as I've planned. I smiled as I thought about my plan. I shifted my eyes into the person that is sleeping peacefully right beside me. My fiance'. Luis Alfonso Revilla. We call him LA. Umulan kse ng malakas kagabi pagkarating niya sa unit ko kaya dito ko na siya pinatulog. So much for that.. Wanna know about my plan? Hihi.

It's my best friend's birthday today. And I gotta surprise her. I'm gonna cook her some healthy breakfast. Alam kong mahimbing pa tulog nun ngayon. Pag Sunday kasi parang buong araw yoon natutulog kasi walang pasok sa trabaho. Isang architect ang bestfriend ko at para sa 'kin isa siya sa pinakamagaling na arkitekto sa Pilipinas ngayon haha! Hindi dahil sa bestfriend ko siya ha? Pero parang halos lahat ng projects at plans niya nakita ko na at magaganda ang mga ito. My father is an architect too and my family owns an architectural firm kaya may kunti akong alam kung mga designs at plano ng mg buildings at structures ang pag-uusap. But my passion is not in the line of architectural and engineering stuffs. I am a doctor and being one is what i love. It is my passion. That's why I dreamt to be a doctor and now, I got the title Dr. Dennise Michelle Lazaro.

I got off my bed, careful not to wake up my fiance' and i prepared myself and everything for my plan. I left a note on my bedside table for my fiance' saying,

" Good morning! Rise and shine honey! I'll be out to surprise Aly. I'll be back. Pero umuwi ka na lang sa inyo at doon na kumain ng bfast haha!! XOXO
- Babe"

Nag-stop by muna ako sa isang palengke to buy all the ingredients that i would need. Huh! May listahan kaya ako. Girl scout ata to! Gusto kong fresh ang ingredients ng lulutuin ko kaya dito ako pumunta sa market na to. Maaga pa kaya fresh na fresh ang mga bilihin at wala pa masyadong tao.

Pagkatapos ko mamili, nagtungo na ako agad sa condo unit ng bestfriend ko.
