I sat on the sofa for ages. Just processing everything that was happening in my head. This was all so crazy. But hey, i guess it just goes to show that nothing is impossible, and that dreams can come true.

I decided i should probably get a move on as i had to head into town. I jumped off the sofa and headed into my bedroom. I looked on my bed and noticed that Dan had left his jumper on my bed. I smiled to myself and sat down on the edge of the bed holding the jumper in my hands. I pulled it close to me and smelt it. Smelt just like him. If the weather was not so warm outside then i probably would have worn this to town, but i knew i would look like an idiot strolling about in a jumper when it was hot outside. I quickly jumped in the shower and looked in my wardrobe deciding on what to wear whilst drying my hair. I decided on wearing my black skater skirt with natural tights and a black crop top. Ever since being with Dan, my confidence had improved so much. I no longer felt ashamed of who i was. Once my hair was dry i put on my clothes and sat down to do my make up. I felt like today was going to be a good day, so i made effort with my make up. I put on my thick black eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara, with my usual foundation and blush. I picked out my deep purple lip stick and decided on this too. Once i had finished getting ready i grabbed my caridgan and bag, put on my red dr marters and headed out the door. The walk to town was quite short but i still plugged in my earphones to my ipod and began listening to music down the road. I began listening to the album sempiternal by bring me the horizon, as it was my favourite album at the moment.

When i finally got into town i realised i had some time to kill before meeting my friend for lunch. I was meeting my friend Ellen who i hadn't seen since i moved here with Leah. But she was visiting with her family for the day and insisted that we meet for lunch whilst her parents were looking round town. I quickly headed into new look to grab some new clothes for work. I didn't particuarly like going into work on my week off, but i desperately needed some new things. I got 2 new blouses, some new leggings, a pair of trousers and a new pair of shoes. As i was at the till, i received a text from Ellen asking where i was and saying that she was at Nando's. I said that i was in new look but i would meet her outside Nando's in about 10 minutes. Trust her to find that easily enough!

I strolled out of new look and headed towards the restaurant. I loved going there because not only was the food amazing, but it reminded me of the night i went there with Dan, and this was a memory that always made me smile. As i approached Nando's, Ellen spotted me and came bounding over and pulling me in for a huge hug. "Oh my god how have you been?? I haven't seen you since college ended." This made me realise how much i missed my friends back at home and how i should really make more of an effort to see them more often. We chatted outside for a bit and then headed in to grab a table. As we were ordering, i was still smiling from the thought of being here with Dan, and Ellen caught sight of this. "What are you so happy about then missy?". I took a sip of my drink and then just told her everything. About how me and Dan met, that we were together and how amazing he was. I showed her a picture of me and him on my phone and she squealed with excitement. "Oh wow, he is gorgeous, and you both look so happy! I am so happy for you!" I loved having Ellen here with me. I wish she lived closer. Times like this made me think about moving back home. I missed my family loads, not to mention my rabbit Todd who i couldn't bring with me due to the no pets allowed rule, and i really missed my friends too. Lots of them were at uni now, but a lot of them were still in Ipswich. But then i remembered Dan, and how much he meant to me. There was no way i was going to lose him. Me and Ellen spent over an hour in the restaurant but then she received a text from her mum saying to meet them in the high street because they were getting ready to head home. I hated the thought of her going, but i knew she had to leave. "Come on, i'll walk you down there as i have to go and get some bits in town anyway." I smiled and we linked arms and skipped down the road. Just like old times.
