Chapter 9

Chapter 9:

"Mizuki."

I turned around to the direction of where the voice came from. Someone stepped out from the shadows, Kakashi Sensei, Kankuro, and Hinata all walked towards me. My grip on Rain tighten as I started walking away again.

"What do you want?" I asked coldly as I quickened my pace.

"S-s-she really i-i-s g-g-g-g-gone isn't she." Hinata said as she ran in front of me, making me stop and look up at them. I nodded as I walked around her. Hinata gasped and ran up to my side again.

"W-w-what are y-y-you g-going t-t-to do with her?" She asked. I stopped dead in my track and looked Hinata in the eyes.

"I'm going to bring her back home. Itachi is going to take her from my arms and cry his eyes out, then we will tell the rest of the members, and then they're probably be depressed as fuck. Then we will hold a funeral and all lock ourselves in our room and cry. Also, be on watch. They might try to destroy your villages, I'll try to stop them. Not for you guys, but for Rain." I told them in a monotone voice.

I then continued walking again. I hugged Rain closer, I can't believe I lost you. I was suppose to protect you but I couldn't. I'm so sorry.

"You really cared for her didn't you." Kankuro called out. I nodded.

"Yeah. She was like my little sister. She helped me a lot in life, I'm pretty sure she probably helped everyone she knows in some way. She listened to whatever you needed to say, she said the right things at the right moment. The way she lives her life, she makes everything seem so easy. She truly cares about you and other peoples feelings, trying to do what's right for other even if it means hurting herself. She was able to make you laugh in one way or another, she could brighten your day easily, she was just amazing. We all loved her, whether you used to or still do. We all love her. But no matter what she still loves everyone, no matter the pain they caused her, no matter how much it hurts, she still loves everyone. That baka, she could've block that attack easily." I ranted.

"What do you mean?" Kakashi Sensei asked. I sighed, can I just go? I mean like really, this is a drag.

"Rain is a powerful shinobi, every time she got hurt or your attack succeeded, she's the one who allowed you to attack her. She could've easily blocked Naruto's and Kosuke's attack. Even if she was in agonizing pain and even though they killed her guardian wolf, she could've blocked that attack. She allowed the attack to make impact with her because she knew that of she were to live, she would've went ape shit from Sasori's and Ookami's death and probably killed all of you guys. Also, she thought that if she were to allow you guys to kill her, it'll make you guys feel better. Even through all the pain, she still thought of others." I explained.

"You guys should really listen to him. He knows Rain better than all of us." Zestu appeared with his creepy smile. Then he looked at Rain and that smile dropped. Black Zetsu glared at the shinobi while White Zestu frowned at Rain.

"I never thought that she would die so soon. Oh my, Itachi will be so sad. Also Kisame, Konan, Hidan, Kakuzu, just everyone. Even Leader-sama! Oh well, Rain was such a pretty girl." White Zestu said. They both walked over and peered down at Rain.

"She's really gone." White Zestu said to Black Zestu. They both nodded.

"I won't say anything until you get to the base. Bye bye now." White Zestu said as they disappeared into the ground. Weird pair those two.

"What's the whole story?" Kankuro asked. I looked at him.

"There's not enough time to tell you the whole story. I have to get Rain back home." I said. The three nodded in understanding.
