Chapter 16

Chapter 16:

(ITACHI'S POV)

Rain smiled up at us as Sasuke and I stepped away, her sand barrier than came crashing down. "Are you guys ready to go now?" She asked as she turned towards everyone. They all stared at her before nodding slowly. She just raised an eyebrow and nodded.

We were going to run a certain distance towards the battlefield before transporting ourselves over in case there's some problem in which their might be injured people and etc.

Rain started at a slow jog as everyone darted past her, I started to gain speed when she came up to me.

"Itachi, I don't know why but I have a really weird feeling about this." She muttered to me as she jumped up into a tree, we all followed her in suit.

"It's not surprising, when you were alive you weren't old enough to really let go of the physical world, so in result of that you're still attached." Lord First said as he jumped up beside us, I could tell everyone was listening closely to what Rain had to say.

She was basically our main weapon.

"It's not that. It doesn't matter anyway, it'll go away soon." Rain said as she shook her head. I could tell she was confused, she may hide it well but you can tell by how uncomfortable and awkward she feels when you're around her.

"Rain, it might be the fact that you're seeing people who used to hate your guts. Just an opinion." Sasuke said with a smirk. Rain rolled her eyes and flipped him the finger before muttering an apology to Lord Third, as he shot her a narrowing glaze.

"You're lucky I actually like you." Rain said with a smirk. She hides it so well,  though I can tell everyone else can sense it also. She used to flow like leaves in a tree as the wind blew past it, now she's having trouble jumping from tree to tree.

She's not used to her body yet, it seems like.

"I'm not, it feels like there's a weight on my body so it's hard to move around the way I used to." Rain said with a small smile. I stared at the back of her, how did she know what I was thinking?

"I'm not reading your mind or anything. It's written all over your face, plus I've spent enough time with you to have a semi understanding of you and how you think." She said as she looked back with a closed eye smile.

She stopped on a branch, crouched down as she yawned and stretched out her kanji marked arms.

"Here." Jugo said as he handed her a black cloak. She thanked him as she wrapped it around her and pulled up the hood. She then activated her sharingan as she zoomed past Sasuke and took out his sword. She then jumped down from the tree and we heard the groans of a cloned Zestu. She then jumped back up and handed Sasuke his sword.

"It seems like he was on his way to the real Zestu." She informed us. We nodded as we started running again. How was she able to sense the cloned Zestu when she's barely even able to run right? And that speed, how was she able to pull that off?

I looked around to see everyone staring at Rain uneasily. It wasn't the bad uneasiness, more like confused and intrigued.

"How were you able to sense him?" Lord Second asked. Rain stared on foward as she answered.

"I spent time with Zestu and his clones, I would train with them regularly. We would do training similiar to the situation. I would be running around, he would send out his clones, and I would have to find them. Though since Zestu is well.. Zestu he barely makes a sound when he's moving. But since I've train so much with him I can well hear him I guess. You guys sensed him though." Rain explained.
