Chapter 22

Chapter 22:

(RAIN'S POV)

"WAIT DON'T GO YET!" Mao yelled. Sora, Mao, Kosuke, Mizuki, and I all ran, jumping from roof to roof trying to get to the Leaf's gate. The Sand was now on their way back. IT'S SO DEPRESSING.

"MIZUKI GIVE ME A BOOST!" Mao yelled. Mizuki nodded and ran over to her, he wrapped his hand around her waist before basically throwing her to Kitty-Chan. He caught her easily as Mao wrapped her legs and arms around him. 

"DON'T LEAVE ME KITTY-CHAN! I'M GOING TO MISS YOU SO MUCH!" She yelled while tears fell like streams down her face. Sora ran over to Temari and hugged her. 

"TEMARI YOU CAN'T LEAVE WITH THEM. ALL ALONEEE!" Sora yelled. Kosuke rolled his eyes before shaking Gaara's hand and smirking. 

"It's gonna be weird not having you around for a couple months." Gaara said. Kosuke chuckled and nodded. 

"Yeah, but hey. Make sure you take care of the Sand for me." Kosuke said while winking. Gaara smiled slightly and nodded. Mizuki and I just kind of stood there. Kosuke walked back next to us, waiting to bid our goodbyes to Kitty-Chan and Blondey. 

I smirked evilly before both my arms sneaked up behind the two boys, before wrapping them around their shoulders and pulling them down. I squeezed them closer to me before giggling. Kosuke let out a yelp in surprise while Mizuki started laughing. 

"You're so short!" Mizuki snorted. I rolled my eyes as I pulled them closer. 

"I had an urge to do this to you guys. By the way YOU BOTH ARE SOO FUCKING TALL WHYYYYY!" I cried into Kosuke shoulder. He started chuckling as he patted my shoulder gently. 

"You're still growing don't worry." Kosuke said. I giggled and nodded before letting both boys free. I looked up to see everyone staring at us with smiles. I waved awkwardly before grinning.

"It was a pleasure being about to spend time with you all. I will see you soon okay?" I said. They all yelled before throwing their fists up in the air. I grinned more before throwing mine up. 

They all started walking, though the Sand siblings stayed back, plus Matsuri. I walked over and hugged Matsuri first. 

"I'm gonna miss you Rain-Sensei!" Matsuri said as she hugged me tight. I smiled and patted her shoulder before pulling away and smiling at her. 

"Hey, it's just gonna be a couple of months. I'll see you soon okay? Take care of yourself for me will you?" I asked. Matsuri nodded eagerly. I smiled and moved out of her way so that she could hug Mizuki. I moved towards Gaara. He watched each and everyone of my step. I then stood in front of him, I smiled up at him as he smiled back. 

"The Sand is going to miss you. Now that they know you're alive and seen you in action, they're going to miss you even more." Gaara said. I laughed and shook my head before running a hand through my hair and blushing slightly. 

"I'm going to miss the Sand too. I can't wait to go back! I'll see you in a couple months okay? Don't miss me to much." I said while winking. Gaara stared at me with wide eyes before a small blush appeared on his face. My smirked widen as Gaara narrowed his eyes at me. 

"By the way, I did help kill you." Gaara said. I stared at him with shock before I groaned. 

"Dammit." I mumbled under my breath. He did basically kill me considering he held Mao, Sora, and Mizuki back and if he didn't do that I wouldn't have died. 

"Way to bring back bad memories." I said while sticking my tongue out at him. His eyes soften as he apologized. I just laughed and waved it off. 

"I'll give you that one. But hey, I'm waiting for you to actually kill me yourself." I said. Gaara smirked at me before chuckling. Everyone looked at him in shock.
