Chapter 19

Chapter 19:

(RAIN'S POV)

The water surrounded my legs was actually really warm. I sat down on the cliff like overhang, over the water, as my legs dipped in.

I looked up at the stars, it was quite beautiful. I forgot how much I missed them until Temari mentioned them.

I then looked down at my bracelets. The ones I got for my birthday, I smiled at the memory of that day. The was the last time the Akatsuki had a day like that, before everything went downhill.

I wish I was able to say goodbye to the rest of the Akatsuki. Being able to see them for one last time would be amazing. I traced the kanji's on my wrist. After Madara and Obito died, really died, the cruse was finally broken.

........"FUCK YOU MADARA." I yelled out. I started to burst out laughing, I'm so weird man. But that felt great. I wonder if anyone heard me. That would be hilarious.

(GAARA'S POV)

"FUCK YOU MADARA." I turned towards the sound as I raised an eyebrow. Rain? Is she okay. I walked over to where she was sitting and laughing to herself. I realized she was tracing her kanjis on her wrist.

Now that Madara and Obito was finally dead, the curse was broken. She explained it as we was setting up camp. Even though the curse is broken, the bonds she make will still appear, though when someone passes, the curse won't hurt her.

"Sorry, if you heard that." Rain said as she smiled up at me. She had tears rolling down her cheek. I walked over and sat down next too her.

She quickly wiped away the tears and looked up. Her blue eyes were shining in the moonlight, she's beautiful. I turned her face towards me and smiled as I wiped the remaining tears away.

"It's okay to cry." I said as I looked into her eyes. Her once dull eyes were now bright again, shining with emotion. She smiled back.

"Thank you." She said she stared into my eyes deeply. She pulled away slowly as she turned her attention back to the water. I set my hand down, she slowly put hers on top of mine as she brushed her fingertips against my fingers.

I reached up and enclosed my fingers around hers, intertwining our fingers together. I turned her wrist around to see the love kanji.

She looked down and smiled.

"Do you still have the necklace?" I asked. Rain looked up at me before nodded. She used her other hand to show me the necklace, still around her neck.

(RAIN'S POV)

Gaara showed me his, I nodded as I laid my head on his shoulder. He untangled our hands as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pulled me close. I yawned and closed my eyes, enjoying Gaara's warmth.

I felt someone carrying me, I opened my eyes to be greeted by Gaara. This felt like deja vu. I blinked my eyes opened as the sun blinded me. Wait, the sun?! The last time I opened my eyes, it was the stars. o.o

"We fell asleep. But don't worry. It's still quite early." Gaara said as he shifted his attention to me then back up. I nodded and yawned.

Gaara was still carrying me, I looked up and studied him. (A/N - I'M TERRIBLY SORRY IF GAARA IS GOING OOC D:)

As we neared the camp, Gaara set me down gently before running a hand through his hair.

"We're going to advance to the village hidden in the Cloud, then Rock, we will separate there and head to our villages. But the shinobi from the hidden mist will leave from this camp to their village." Gaara informed me. I nodded.
