Chapter 17:

(RAIN'S POV)

I never felt so alive in my whole entire life. Being able to fight beside my friends and family, it all felt like a dream. Sand and water shot up everywhere, protecting shinobis from all villages. It was actually quite funny when that happens, they all looked at me with shock wondering how I was able to see that attack.

"You're like a giant shield." Shino said as he lightly punched a wooden creature before it exploded, insects started flowing out. I shivered a little, okay even though I may be used to Shino and insects, it's still a gross sight seeing insects crawling out of a body. Well creature.

"I'm used to staying back and defending all the other leaf siblings when we were in battle. It's something that just happens." I said while dancing around. I'm not really attacking right not, more just covering everyone's back.

I tensed up as I felt someone wrap their arms around my shoulders.

"Hello there, sister." Sora said with a smirk.

"IT'S NICE SEEING YOU ALIVE!" Mao yelled as she smirked back. I couldn't help but laughing as I wrapped my arms around both their shoulders.

"Finally you guys decided to join the party. I was growing a bit bored waiting for you guys to come." I said with a smirk. They both laughed as I felt them getting fired up. Ohh is this going to be a sight.

"Where's the two weirdos at?" I asked as I looked around. We all got out of each others grip and looked around for the Senjuice and Mind mojo.

"Did we really forget them?" Sora asked while scratching her head sheepishly. I laughed at the two as Sora activated her eyes.

"Oh here they come!" She cheered. Kosuke and Mizuki appeared in front of us. Mizuki was leaning against Kosuke, he seemed unwell. They both looked up, eyes wide. I smiled and waved. Mizuki darted from Kosuke's grips and tackled me.

"YOU'RE ALIVE, YOU'RE FUCKING ALIVE. I missed you so much." He mumbled in my hair. I felt tears dripping from my face and his. The bond was reconnecting, we both could feel that.

"I missed you so fucking much." He whispered. I nodded and looked up, he looked down with amazement.

"We have a war to fight. What a drag." I said as I wiped my tears away and pulled out of his hug. He chuckled as he nodded.

"Such a drag isn't it?" He said as he wiped his tears away. I turned towards Kosuke, he was still staring at me with wide eyes. I walked over hesitantly before wrapping my arms around him, he slowly wrapped his arms around me before pulling me close.

"You're alive." He mumbled. I laughed and nodded.

"Surprise bitch, I'm back." I mumbled. Everyone including Kosuke starting laughing like crazy.

"I KNEW YOU WERE DYING TO SAY THAT!" Mao yelled as she pointed an accusing figure at me. We all started laughing again. It felt great laughing with everyone, though I would've preferred it not to be in the situation it was in now.

"Totally, I was waiting for you guys to come before I said it." I said sarcastically.

"We know you were." Kosuke mumbled. I started laughing and shook my head.

"I wish we could just hang out, but that's not the case right now." I said while turning around. Naruto, Sasugay, and Sakura were all summoning their animals.

"The three-way deadlock is back in action." Sora said with a smirk. She stepped up next to me, Mao giggled as she walked up to my other side. We all did hand signs before a wolf, tiger, and eagle all appeared.
