Chapter 28

Chapter 28:

(RAIN'S POV)

I blinked a couple of times as I sat up. I was laying down next to Itachi, he looked at me before standing up and helping me up.

"It wasn't possible for me to show you everyone else, the jutsu was starting to break." He explained. I just nodded my head and brushed my pants off. The sun was already up, the sky was blue filled with fluffy white clouds.

He gently tossed my ninja tools at me, I caught them swiftly as I attached the pouch around my thigh and hip.

"We should be heading back soon. You did good today." Itachi said as he patted my head. I looked up and gave him a quick smile before transporting us back to the house. Yuki ran out and wrapped her arms around my waist.

I smiled as I bent down and poked her forehead.

"I WAS WORRIED ABOUT YOU! YOU GUYS TOOK SO LONG!" She yelled as she attacked me into a hug. I staggered back for a few seconds before falling over. Itachi and Aki started laughing as Yuki shot up and giggled.

"How about we go out into town for the day? We can show Rain around." Aki suggested as she leaned against Itachi. Itachi looked down at her lovingly. MY OTP, FREAKING O-T-P. Yuki bounced around as she cheered and threw her hands in the air.

"Is that alright with you, Rain?" Itachi asked. Yuki ran over and looked up at me with puppy eyes. I laughed as I pushed her away gently and nodded.

"Sounds good to me! Can I first shower and get changed?" I asked as I looked down at my clothes, they were covered in dirt and I stunk from training.

"Mommy, Rain stinks, I think she needs to shower." Yuki said as she tugged on Aki's hand. I playfully glared at her.

Yuki sprinted back into the house as I trailed behind her slightly.

"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE BRAT." I yelled as I stomped throughout the house. Yuki squealed and ran up the stairs.

"HEY YOU TWO BE CAREFUL, DON'T BURN THE HOUSE DOWN." Aki yelled from outside.

(ITACHI'S POV)

Aki laughed and shook her head at the two. You were able to hear them running around from outside. She then turned to me with a small smile.

"How did she do?" She asked. I sighed and shook my head.

"She's doing alright, but she's still having trouble working her body. She's clumsy. I do believe she'll get better very fast, though while she was under my jutsu, I was able to look into her thoughts. She's not stable right now, she's filled with anxiety and depression." I answered.

Rain is having trouble controlling her mind. She's constantly getting consumed with thoughts. That's why she's unable to focus. If she is unable to train her mind, she'll be unable to train her body.

"If she is unable to take control over her mind, she'll be unable to take control over her body. The good thing is, she still has control over her tailed beast. Right?" Aki asked. I nodded.

"Yes, she still has control over her tailed beast. Though they aren't too happy with how things are. They believed that we shouldn't have brought her back." I explained. Aki bit her lip as she played with her fingers.

"I think bringing her back was smart at the moment, but now it's causing so much pain for her. She's burden by everything that happened before she died. She's only 15, she's still too young to deal with all of this." Aki said.
