"Benson," she said into her phone.

"Liv, you aren't at work."

How she loved when he called her that.

"Sorry, habit," she said. "What?"

On the other line, Elliot was nervous. Seriously nervous. He needed to get alone with Olivia but couldn't just make it obvious he had a thing for her. He thought the previous words over in his head, which were nearly quoted from what Lizzie had told him. She knew about her dad's little crush and thought it was cute. And that she should help him out.

So he decided to use the squad.

"W-Well the squad has a free weekend and we were going to meet for drinks tonight. Wanna come?"

With that Peter had just thrown their way?! No, she couldn't! But Elliot was inviting her out. Casual, with the entire squad, but...with Elliot!

Was she really this excited to see him?

Damn, Peter actually was right about a couple things.

"I...I don't know. Nicole's...I can't have her watch the kids right now. She's..."

"Well I could pick you up. And Lizzie and Dickie could hang out with them three tonight," Elliot offered, desperately. Though he didn't let that sound on the phone.

"Um...okay," she gave in. While on the line, she rushed into Nicole's room and took the letter from her daughter's table. If she was going to have her babysit tonight, she'd need to be alright in the head.

Silently, Elliot cheered. "Great, the squad is dying to see you act not all...professional."

"Is being professional a bad thing?" she questioned flirtatiously.

Elliot knew she was joking but his stomach dropped. "Well no, but it's fun to see Munch down a few too many shots."

"You're not getting me wasted, Stabler."

"Not at all," he said, but then thought, maybe a little tipsy.

"So, what time?"

"Um...Fin and Munch are heading there at 6."

"Sounds good to me."

They exchanged goodbyes and hung up. Then Olivia started to panic. 6?! How would she be ready in 2 hours?!

Quickly, she jumped in the shower and blowdried then straightened her hair. She parted it down the right side and let it hang loose. Olivia's hair was only a few inches past her shoulders, but when it was straitened to be parallel with pins, it went much longer, past her bra.

She put on just a little makeup - she wanted to look as casually dressed as possible. But still attractive to Elliot.

She put on her lucky jeans - which was in both the sexual and non-sexual context - and her favorite shirt.

She slipped some flats on and saw it was 5:30. She quietly woke Nicole.

"Hm? Mom?" Nicole asked as she awoke.

"Hey, I'm going out for a little bit. Lizzie and Dickie are going to be here to help you watch the kids."

Nicole wasn't sure how she felt about that, but based off the fact her mother had her hair straightened, she knew this was a special occasion.

"Okay," she replied, "what time?"

"Half hour. Brush your hair."

Nicole nodded and reached over to her bedside table.
