Chapter 1-This Is So Turning Into An All Guys Club

White. Everything is sickingly white in this place, I don't know what's the point. Are they maybe trying to make people feel better? Because that's sure ain't the case. The whole place is so luxurious for what's supposed to be a 'helping people get better place'. Makes me imagine how he'd cringe just by the mere thought of luxury. No, I'm not in a mental hospital and I'm sure not in a jail cell either. Although, this place would give you the vibe since you're practically locked up in a four white walls room.

In fact, I hope I was in a mental hospital or even a jail cell, because that would only mean that I had enough strength that made me capable of going crazy or even committing a crime.

I miss him. I haven't seen him in like...I actually lost count of the days. Being locked up in what I'd like to call 'worse than a hell hole', sure makes you forget everything outside this building. The outer world. Life. I remember that, I lived and I don't regret a single thing I did. I lived, I loved and I did so many other things I would've never thought I'd do in my wildest dreams. But my heart just gave up on me.

I'm in pain. No, I don't mean the pain in my heart, well, technically there's pain in my heart, but that's not what I meant. I mean I'm in emotional pain besides the physical pain. I had the will to fight, he had it too. But fate just decided to play a sick joke and make us lose a fight, we were so sure of winning.

Him. Who's him? Danger. Danger who? The one that stole my heart. Well, I don't hold a grudge against him for stealing my heart, in fact I feel bad for him. I should've warned him, I should've told him that my heart is just not willing to fight, that it gave up on me a long time ago. But I was so lost in his warm orbs that I almost forgot.

Almost.

Well, turns out, almost is never enough. I thought what we had was perfect, we were perfect. But how could I be so stupid and believe in perfection, when all we had was almost?

A year. 12 months. 365 days. That's all I've managed to spend living, to spend with him. Why couldn't I have met him earlier? The answer really wouldn't change a thing and maybe that's why I never bother asking it.

What was so special about him? About us? Sparks. Just as simple as that. I can't really explain what we were without telling the story from the beginning. It's not a short one, I have to warn you and for that lets all pray that my heart would give me just enough time to finish it.

I mean you wouldn't want me to keep you hanging in the middle of the story, right?

Can you hear that? No, not my mom's cries, or my dad's yells at the doctors and nurses to do something. It's not the long beep of the heart monitor either.

It's the sound of my heart giving up without even a fight.

Darkness.

Day 1

Jocks, nerds, plastics, bad boys, bullies, victims...and the list just goes on. Whenever you hear those labels, you'd know you're in high school. And guess what? We're the ones putting those labels and labelling people under what we think is right. What makes there bullies and victims? The stupid fact that we label each other. You label them jocks, they'll label you nerds, you label them sluts, they label you goody goody. It's an unending cycle honestly and if you want to judge someone so badly, then how about you start with yourself? Is it really worth it to make fun of people, tease them, judge them without even knowing the first thing about them?

My mom used to be the most popular girl in school, straight A student and is not really one looking for trouble, unless you piss her off. I'm just like my mom I guess, not because I'm trying to be her, it's just that it's genes I guess. I wouldn't call myself a nerd, even though I'm a straight A student, and I wouldn't call myself a troublemaker either. I prefer the term normal, just plain normal me Grace.
