Chapter 13-Where Are You Now That I Need You?
Don't look at me like that, it wasn't even my idea, I mean we finally did decide on which book our project will be based on. But...lets all remember that it was Jason's idea and not mine, shall we? I should've known that there was a good reason as to why he has chosen 'if I stay' as a book to work on. And that's ladies and gentlemen was because it was made into a movie, and being the Lazy ass he is, he insisted he'd watch the movie instead of actually reading the book.
And of course I at some point couldn't keep the tears back anymore and just gave in letting them flow freely down my cheeks. I haven't read the book once without ending up crying and the movie wasn't any different really. I ended up crying watching the movie too. Of course Jason had to be the sneaky little shit he is and insisted on sitting beside me. And from there, you know what happened next. He threw an arm around my shoulders pulling me closer into him, but instead of being the sweet gentleman in all the cliché movies of all time, he ended up smashing his lips on mine.
Right to the point, he didn't even waste time using the old trick of trying to comfort me and whisper sweet nothings into my ear. No, he just went straight to the last step of open mouth kissing. Yeah...I really wonder why I even thought he'd actually forget his despise for cliché things for a second for the sake of a pathetic for romance girl like myself.
But I had enjoyed it nevertheless, for some strange reason all my cliché romantic fantasise were always out the window the second our eyes lock or our lips just brush against one another. He's just got that spell and he had me trapped, I was stuck and I'm afraid that there was no way out.
After watching the movie, Vicky came barging into the room just as the credits was rolling down on the screen. Her mouth fell ajar as she stared at the screen in disbelief.
"You watched it without me?! You know how much I wanted to watch that movie!" She exclaimed throwing her hands up in the air.
"I thought you already watched it" my voice came out groggily from all the crying I made.
"I only got to watch half of it before we had to go downstairs to eat!" She huffed folding her arms.
"Alright, what about I make it up to you? " I asked raising my eyebrows.
"How?" She asked biting her bottom lip.
"I'll call Abby, Noah and we could even get Colton and Parker and maybe go out somewhere" I suggested glancing between Jason and Vicky.
"Fine!" She said still trying to give me the cold shoulder.
Keyword: trying.
"Okay then, you go change and I'll text Abby and Noah to come over and Jason will text the guys" I said pushing her out of the room.
"So eager to get me out of the room, huh? I wonder why" she wiggled her eyebrows glancing at something behind me, or rather someone.
"Just get out, Vic!"
I wasn't even going to deny that whenever we were left alone, we did have some intimidate moments.
"So what do you wanna do now?" I turned around to face a sight that made me roll my eyes.
There sat Jason on my bed wiggling his eyebrows with a smug smile on his face. I walked into my closet and locked the door behind me, knowing damn well that if I left it open, I'll find Jason stuttering into the room pretty soon. I changed in some black high waisted shorts and a white shirt that I've tucked into the shorts. I slipped in my white Nike high tops and then walked out and back into my room.
I frowned when I didn't see Jason anywhere in sight, I shrugged before starting to add light makeup. I threw my hair up in a high messy ponytail before grabbing my phone and wallet and then walking out of my room. I jogged down the stairs only to suddenly feel a sharp pain in my chest the second I reached the bottom.
