Wanna slay the fashion game at school? A head's up for you fashionistas xx (Sept 2016)
- Long line vests- You might want to look this one up, but these are perfect for a casual yet put together, chic look. I love them!
- Off the shoulder tops- This is by far my fave trend of the summer! It was a fad back in the day but I'm so happy that it came back. They're super chic and pair really well with a corduroy skirt or jeans, and/or a choker!
- Metal choker necklaces- I feel like tattoo and simple black cord chokers are going out but metallic chokers with small jewel charms are becoming super popular now. They are super easy to style and layer and I love them!
- Oversized Flannels - Since fall is coming soon, I've recently seen more and more people whippin out their flannels. Try oversized or boyfriend-style flannels! They give a relaxed and soft vibe and are seriously comfortable! Just make sure it's not so big as to where it looks like a nightgown haha
- Loose patterned shorts- These have always been around but especially now, they are super breezy, comfy, and cute for summer.
- Crochet neck tanks- Again, you might want to Google it, but these are trendy right now and I like them a lot! I think the crochet details on the top act kind of as an cool accessory so it's pretty easy to toss on in the morning and make you look great. :)
- Bomber jackets- These are BOMB af (pun intended sorry). Anyway, they're good for chillier summer evenings and can be dressed up or down, but definitely make outfits edgier and look so good. I love them is all I can say haha.
- Adidas Superstars- Okay I know Ive talked about these for a while but a lot of people are finally catching on. They're comfy sneakers and go with so many outfits so go find yourself a pair!
- Dewy natural makeup - I don't know if anyone agrees with me, but I think so many people/celebs are lightening up their makeup this year and it looks really fairy-like and gives a youthful glow! Try it out, even if your makeup is always dark, you might like it.
- Peekaboo bralettes - These have been trendy for a while now, but they're still v flirty and cute! So basically, you wear a bralette and the side or shoulder straps peek out of your tank top or shirt. Lace halter bralettes are my personal fave! If you're not comfortable with showing undergarments, try to find a similar tank top to wear instead.
