(A/N : GUYSSSSSSSS! I'm so extremely sorry for my absence, it's been sooooo long :( I've been dealing with some personal issues and just taken a break from the internet but I'm back and hopefully can update you guys with more chapters soon. I know you really enjoy trend alerts so here you go! :)) [May 2018]

There have been a zillion new (and renewed) trends lately on the runway and on the street! Here's the rundown:

Long, dainty dangly earrings: I don't know if you know what I'm talking about but these types of earrings are SO IN right now. If you love accessorizing, get these earrings now because they're super simple yet can add so much to any outfit. Also, dangly earrings in general are becoming more and more trendy these days so if you're going jewelry shopping, find yourself some cute ones! (If you know BTS, these are the types of earrings Jimin and Taehyung/V wore a lot in DNA)

Wide leg pants: Wide leg pants are both trendy, and comfortable to walk around in. Depending on what type of wide leg pants you get, you can style it in a multitude of ways; sporty, classy, casual, AND with any type of shoe, whatever you please! 

Corduroy : This material adds a homey vintage look and feel to any outfit, my favorite corduroy pieces are denim-structured jackets and cigarette pants.

Belts: Belts used to be out of the picture but now we're bringing em back! They can be worn as accent pieces or statement pieces, and can turn a boring look into something fun! My favorite belt styles are simple black leather belts with a silver buckle, or metal grommets, and bold colored belts. 

Scrunchies: Have you noticed another 90's comeback trend? Scrunchies are everywhere recently, and are super comfy to wear. They come in various colors, textures, patterns, and sizes, and can be used both as accessories and to tie up your hair without being harsh.

Berets: Berets! These hats are not as common with the commoners but in the fashion industry and in the city, they're totally trendy. Berets can be worn to spice up pretty much any outfit you can think of, adding a sophisticated, chic look. They also come in a variety of colors so you can choose a toned down color for a more neutral look or a bold red to make a statement.

Half zip sweaters: Half zip sweaters are a super casual and comfy yet cute top to wear either as a top or over one. They're a little 90's and I think you can't go wrong with a half zip sweater and your favorite pair of jeans on a regular school day. 

Doc Martens: Blast from the past? Doc Martens go with a ton of different outfits, and are pretty comfy and durable for different types of weather. 

Two tone jeans: Ripped boyfriend jeans? Who's that? This year two-tone/pattern jeans have been super trendy and totally make the simplest outfits way cooler.

Shirts layered over sheer bodysuits: I think this is the coolest look ever and definitely makes you look like you know fashion. You can dress this up or down for pretty much any occasion and there are seriously SO many ways to wear this combination. 

Lantern sleeve sweaters: This might be more of a Korean fashion trend but it's so so cute and comfortable, and I couldn't help but include it in this list. If you're into Korean fashion, these are a must-have. (Also guys, if you like kpop and Korean fashion/beauty, since I recently got into it-- i mean obsessed with it---- let me know if you'd like a separate chapter on these things!)

ANYWAY everyone I'm genuinely glad to finally be publishing a new chapter. I hope you all enjoy it and maybe get some new inspo. Please forgive me for leaving you guys alone for so long, I truly didn't mean to. ILY~
