Tips and DIYs for Girls

May Favorites 2017 ♡

Wow I haven't done a favorites chapter in a year :(

I know its early but I couldn't wait haha
Alright, here are some of my recent fav things, enjoy. :)

Beauty

BB creams - BB creams are lightweight, have more benefits, and are much more simple than foundations in my opinion. I have very acne prone, combo skin and I find that using a concealer to spot conceal then dabbing on BB cream with a sponge/beauty blender all over helps to cover a lot of my blemishes and marks and works well for me.

No-makeup makeup - This is my fav makeup look in general but it's especially perfect for the summer and days when you want to look polished but not overdone.

Fashion:

Oversized tees - I loveeeee oversized tees, they're way more comfortable than regular fitted shirts and are actually really versatile. I like wearing them tied into a knot on the side or tucked into distressed shorts.

Small Dainty Necklaces - I find these really cute and can make simple outfits put together and more feminine. Idk if this is weird but I think they accentuate your collarbone in a really flirty, simple, minimalistic way which I'm totally into.

Matching Sets - Tracksuits and sweats suits came back from the 90s and have become really popular on Instagram lately and I think they're super comfy and cute for lazy days.

Cut-out neckline t-shirts - I dunno if you know what I'm talking about but I think these add a little bit of edge and spice to an outfit and add more texture to a plain graphic tee.

Buckled belt - These are so cute and really add personality and style to a simple tee and shorts!

Layered dainty chokers - I feel like these just make an outfit so much more adorable and personalized and it's just perfect to accessorize any outfit with.

Entertainment

To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han - I really loved this book/series, and I felt like it was really relatable. The main characters' romance is not too perfect which makes it very interesting to read about and I connected to it in a lot of ways. I recommend checking it out!

Jane the Virgin - This show is so good! I literally am all caught up with the latest season and I only started watching the show less than a month ago :/ woops. It's a comedy, crime, and drama show so it has a little of everything to make you laugh, cry, and fall off your chair.

Boss Baby - This movie is so weird and I watched it as a joke initially but actually liked it ? It's really cute and it's a really good family movie!

Random
Frozen mango cubes - Okay yes, I know this is kinda random but I bought a giant bag of frozen mangos and have been eating them everyday. They're so good and a healthy dessert if you eat them in moderation of course.
