Yasss hello 2016! I want to start your year off with new ways to simplify your beauty routine . Hope you like it!

- Cut out a little v shaped piece out of the side of a business card and use it as an eyeliner stencil to get even wings every time (finally).

- If you dont have a contour brush, slide a bobby pin into the side of your foundation brush for a makeshift one.

- Start applying your foundation in the middle of your face to apply it more evenly

- Put a light eyeshadow on the inner corners of your eyes and first half of your lower lash line to brighten your eyes and make you look more awake.

- Draw a slanted hashtag, with an eyeshadow stick or eyeliner pencil, on the outer half of your eyelid and blend it out for a subtle smoky eye.

- Tightline, or draw a slightly smudged out line close to your lashes to define your eyes in a more natural way.

- Dust a bit of eyeshadow or contour shade on your hair part to make your hair look fuller

- Melt lipsticks in an empty lip balm container to make your own lipstick colors.

- Want waves overnight? Separate your hair into two and split those into two or three parts. Twist each part when it's just a little damp (making it tighter on the bottom half) and leave it on your chest to avoid messing it up. If they start to unravel, just keep twisting them until you are satisfied or you fall asleep! This is the only method that works for me :)

- Apply a layer of school glue to your nails before applying glitter nail polish to make the nail polish removal easier.

- Tie your hair in braids and use a flat iron to make beachy waves.

- Apply some lip balm before doing the rest of your makeup so by the time you get to your lips, they are smooth and moisturized.

- If you tend to get oily or greasy throughout the day, reach for blotting sheets instead of powder. This will prevent clogged pores and is better for your face overall.

- Avoid using hot or cold water on your face. Stick to lukewarm water for washing your face and splash it with cool water afterwards.

- Use honey, mouthwash, or toothpaste to help shrink pimples!

- Before filling in your brows, apply concealer or non-shimmery highlighter under your brows, following it's shape, and blend it out. Then fill in your brows focusing more on the top half or sparse areas to look way more natural.

- Allow about 2-3 fingers from your nose to where blush starts.

- Want fuller looking lips? Outline your lips with a darker lip liner and blend it inwards, then apply your lipstick!

- For nose contouring, the thinner the lines you draw on, the thinner your nose will look. (I'm not talking about how close the lines are together)

- Always remember to apply sunscreen or at least a product with SPF even if it isn't hot outside

-  Remember to clean all your makeup tools!

- Use Aloe Vera to calm redness!

- Smile! 😊

I hope you all like the first chapter of the year! Tell me your favorite beauty hack in the comments.
