*Katie's POV*

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Did Calum and Luke know each other? Or is Calum telling me no one is allowed in 'his' house.

"Calum?" Luke said as he took a step forward.

I stayed where I was and gulped. Calum brought him into a 'bro-hug'.

Great I thought. Everyone I talk to is somehow friends with Calum and will most likely choose him over me.

"How do you two know each other?" I asked.

Calum glared at me, "None of your fucking business."

"Hey, Calum, chill man" Luke said furrowing his eyebrows and looking at me then to Calum.

"We met some time last year at this bar and sang karaoke" Luke chuckled nodding.

I just nodded because I knew Calum was already annoyed.

"Well we should go start this project" Luke said.

"Yeah whatever" Calum chuckled and flopped onto the couch.

I couldn't have gotten out of that room any quicker. I walked straight up into my 'room' with Luke following me behind.

"Woah" Luke said walking in. I chuckled slightly at the way he was looking around and picking things up as if he had never seen them before.

"I know that's what I thought" I said sitting down on the bed, Luke joined me.

"I never knew you lived with Calum.. are you like-" I didn't know if i was ready to tell Luke all about my background, I was scared what he would think of me. Probably something bad like Calum and everyone else does. I guessed he could tell by the look on my face that I wasn't ready to talk about it.

"Shit, sorry that's really none of my business" Luke said shaking his head.

"No it's okay, sorry I would tell you it's just... hard" Luke simply nodded.

"You can tell me when you are ready" He flashed a smile. "Okay so should we start on this project then?"

I nodded, "What should we do it on?"

"Well I think we're both thinking the same thing" He chuckled as I nodded.

"Guitar?" I said looking at Luke.

"Guitar." He replied, nodding.

Luke and I had been working on the presentation for about 3 hours and it still wasn't finished, it was going to take a lot longer than expected.

It was 10pm so I walked Luke down to the door. Of course Calum was in the lounge and him and Luke were having a conversation about an old friend of theirs.

I stood awkwardly in the lounge and then when Luke was about to go he gave me a quick hug.

I hugged him back and looked over his shoulder and saw Calum glaring at me. I could have easily said something along the lines of 'I'm so sorry for hugging someone in your house without your permission' but instead I just shrugged it off.

"I'll see you at school Katie" Luke smiled and walked out the door leaving me in a very awkward situation with Calum.

I walked towards the stairs.

"You can't just bring people in here without telling me. Listen, I know you think you are going to be living here and having a great time because you think I won't do anything to you because my mum and dad are here but you are so wrong. I won't hesitate to make sure your life sucks whether my mum hears or not. So stay the fuck away from me and my family."
