*Katie's POV*

"This isn't fucking happening" Calum said looking down below. "Maybe I can jump onto that ledge from here."

I chuckled at how annoyed he was getting and watched as he tried to find a way out of here.

He turned to look and me, "You know this is all your bro-"

"You say one thing about my brother and I will push you off this ride, and don't think I won't."

I was waiting for him to say something about Keith but he just turned away from me and continued trying to find a way off of this ride.

"Okay if you don't stop shaking this cart, we are both going to die. I don't want to be stuck on here with you anymore than you do but can you just sit still and wait for someone to come!" I said looking at him.

He just sighed and folded his arms like a 5 year old.

About 30 minutes had passed and we were still stuck on this ride and no one had came to help us.

Calum was playing a game on his phone and I was texting Ashton with the little amount of service I had.

From Ash:

Hey whatcha doing?

To Ash:

Stuck on a ride with Calum :((

From Ash

Are you alright? You aren't hurt are you?

I chuckled at my phone, he was such a worrier, but it was cute.

As I replied, Calum spoke up for the first time in 40 minutes.

"Can you sext someplace else please?" He asked. I shook my head and put my phone in my pocket again.

Just then we heard footsteps underneath us and we looked down to see one of the men who works there.

"Hey guys, I'm Rick. Now you're stuck in the worst place on this ride because there's no path to walk on, so I'll need you guys to hang tight while we see if we can get the ride working, however if we cant get it working-"

His walkie-talkie went off saying they needed him someplace else and he told us he would be back and ran off.

Calum and I sighed at the exact same time which was quite creepy. My stomach began rumbling and I realised that I hadn't actually had anything this morning. I remembered that I put a chocolate bar in my pocket this morning.

I took it out and opened it and took a bite. As I was eating it, I could feel Calum watching me and just then his stomach rumbled.

I looked at him and he quickly looked away but I knew he was hungry, as much as I didn't like him, I did feel quite bad so I handed him the bar.

"No I-"

"Shut up and eat some Calum" I said looking at him, he took a bite and we shared the rest over the 2 hours that we were still on this ride.

I was about to fall asleep when Rick came back with some more workers and they were all holding mats. I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked at them confused.

"Okay so you guys are the last ones left, but the thing is, the ride wont start at all so we are going to need you guys to jump."

"Jump?!" I said looking down at how far up we were. I was extremely scared of heights, but no one actually knew that.

The workers put down lots of crash mats under us and I felt like I was going to throw up. I looked at how far we had to fall.

"Okay, the girl first, what's your name?" Rick asked.
