*Katie's POV*

"Can we get a starbucks?" Keith asked me as we walked around the shops.

"Shit!" I said as Keith gasped.

"Sorry, I just remembered I was meant to go for that Starbucks interview like two weeks ago."

"Why don't you go now?" Keith asked me.

"I don't think I'll be able to, but okay" I sighed, hoping Ashton wasn't there.

We walked in and luckily he wasn't.

"This is great! Everyone is at school and we aren't" Keith giggled as he skipped up to the counter.

"You only got today off because of the jet lag, and we agreed to run some errands for Joy." I rolled my eyes and laughed.

After I ordered, I walked over to what looked like the manager.

"Hey, I'm Katie. I was meant to come for an interview the other week but I missed it, I really need a job, do you think there's any way I could re-schedule it?" I asked.

She brought out a notebook and looked at it until she stopped at my name.

"Ah yes, no, no we still need staff, Ashton said you would be great" She nodded. I gulped at the thought of working with him.

"Well, it isn't much of an interview but we can do it right now if that's alright" She said as she sat down. I looked over to Keith, who was standing at the counter.

"It's- it's just, my brother" I said pointing over at him "I don't want to leave him alone for too long" I said biting my lip.

Just as she shut her notebook and was about to speak, someone else spoke up from behind us.

"I'll watch him for a bit, it won't take longer than ten minutes" I recognised the voice straight away and smiled at the woman before turning around to face Ashton. Of course my smile disappeared.

"Look, honestly I'll just sit with him and make sure nothing happens to him, we'll just be over there" He said as he put his hands up in front of him.

"Fine" I sighed, "Thank you" I sat down and smiled at the women as she opened her book back up.

"Oh my name is Aimee, by the way" She said as I nodded and quickly turned round to check on Keith. I saw him sitting, laughing with Ashton so I turned back around and started my interview.

*Calum's POV*

I walked into Starbucks, my mum had told me Katie and Keith would probably be here and yeah, that was the reason I was here. I just wanted to check up on them.

I opened the door and saw the back of Katie's hair and she was talking to someone who looked like the manager. I looked around and saw Keith sitting with Ashton.

Instantly, I rushed over to them.

What the fuck is Keith doing with that dick?

"Calum!" Keith shouted as he looked at me smiling. I smiled back at him, "This is Ashton" He said as I smiled at him and glared at Ashton.

"Yeah we've met.." Ashton and I trailed off at the same time.

"Well, I was uh, just watching Keith while Katie takes her interview" He nodded looking at Katie.

"Yeah, well I can take over now." I said not feeling comfortable knowing Keith was around him.

"Nah, I don't mind-"

"No it's fine" I said through gritted teeth.

I looked over and saw Katie stand up and smile while shaking the woman's hand before walking over to us.
