*Katie's POV*

"Please, don't leave" He sighed as I looked to the ground.

"If anyone's leaving it's you."

"Look I'll go if you want, I just wanted to talk" He said.

"How did you know I was here?" I asked looking to him.

"I didn't" He replied pulling flowers from behind his back and crouched down beside me putting flowers in the other cup. I watched him, realising that I had always wondered how there was flowers in the other cup and now I knew.

Calum looked at me as I watched him put the flowers in, "I come visit him a lot as well" He said sitting down next to the gravestone and brushing off some leaves that had fell on it

"Can we talk now?" He asked as I looked to the ground and nodded.

"I promise, nothing happened with Freya, she was just trying to mess with you and I think it worked."

"I'm not mad about that Freya thing, I get I overreacted and I'm sorry for that and I never should have brought up the bully thing" I looked to him.

"I'm sorry for getting mad too" He replied.

"But that's not whats bothering me, it's what happened after it, with Freya telling the entire school about.."

"I promise you Katie, I didn't tell her any of that, I didn't I went over an-and I contained my anger and I tried to tell her to back off, I didn't think she knew about it, I honestly didn't" He said looking to me, apologetically.

"I know, but now the whole school is talking about me and I'm just back right where I started" I sighed picking at the grass.

"I know and I'm sorry I can't be there to help you through it" He sighed shaking his head, "What do you think about all of that?" He looked up to me.

I sighed, "I don't agree with them just punishing you, that's not fair but nothing's exactly fair in that school and I guess it scared me, I mean yeah, she needed a slap but I don't know if it should've been from you.." I said standing up, "Look Calum, you scared me, I-if you hit Freya then.." I trailed off.

"I could hit you..." He finished, reading my mind and standing up, "But Katie, I would never hurt you I promise you that, it's the biggest promise I could ever make but you mean the world to me and I could never bring myself to lay a hand on you" He said looking as if he was about to cry.

He hesitantly took my hands in his, I had missed the way they perfectly fitted with each other.

He looked into my eyes as I looked back to him, "Look Katie, please, I promise I won't do anything to scare you again and if you want to leave me, then you can but I-I don't think I can go on without you" I now noticed a tear had rolled down his cheek the same as what was happening to me.

We both raised our hands to each others faces to wipe the tears and laughed.

"It's fine, I forgive you, thank you for sticking up for me and I'm sorry for overreacting" I smiled as he pulled me in for a hug and kissed the top of my head, immediately making me feel safer.

"You didn't" He said against my hair.

I pulled away and quickly fixed the flowers next to the gravestone as I smiled.

"C'mon, lets go home" I said as Calum flung his arm around my shoulder as we walked back.

"Let's promise something, that we won't let anything get between us, especially Freya" Calum said.

I nodded and linked my pinky to his as we laughed.

"Hey" He said as I looked to him furrowing my eyebrows.
