How I became Savannah Solo Part 1

Thursday April 9th

*this is a long chapter lol. Anyways I got to go to the game this past Saturday and I got to meet almost the whole team(I cried when I met Ali and Hope) but they are the nicest people ever!! Okay fangirl over for now**

7 am came to early the next morning. I slowly got up and got ready. I made my way downstairs and let Sasha and Onyx inside.
I gave them food before fixing my cereal. Hope can down shortly after and saw me.

Hope: Dang Baby Horse you look rough. I told you not stay up, you still have the meeting with Coach French.
Me: I know, I just couldn't sleep
Hope: I can tell. Well here are the keys to the jeep. I know practice ends at 12 but I have some errands to run before my doctors appointment.
Me: Okay thanks, I'll probably just grab lunch before my meeting.
Hope: That's fine, I know Kelley is in Seattle now so if she's not busy you should see if she could go with you.
Me: ooh! I'll text her and see thanks for the idea
Hope: Okay well let's  go before we are late.

I let Hope go first and then followed her to the field. We parked and went to the locker room. I put my gear on and then texted Kelley.

Me: Hey Squirrel! Hope told me you're in town now. I get done with practice at 12 and then a meeting at 2 but if you're free between then do you want to get lunch together?
Kelley: Yeah definitely! My practice ends at 12:30 so if you can pick me up then I can!
Me: I can do that, where are you practicing?
Kelley: we are at Seattle high school.
Me: Okay I'll pick up at 12:30 then.
Kelley: Okay see you then Baby Horse, bye!
Me: Bye!

I set my phone down and went out to the field for warmups. Since it's the day before the game we weren't doing much. We only did a couple of drills to stretch our muscles out from the day before. I went back to the locker room and changed. I grabbed my things and walked over to Hope.

Me: Hey I'm going to pick up Kelley and go to lunch before my meeting.
Hope: Okay that's fine just check in with me some point please.
Me: I will!

I headed out and got in the jeep. I headed over to the high school and got there a little early. I got out and saw they were doing a cool down so I waited by the gate for Kelley. Once she came out and saw me she ran and jumped on me.

Me: Hey Squirrel I've missed you!
Kelley: I missed you too Baby Horse but let's go eat I'm starving!
Me: I know I am too.

I set Kelley down and and we walked to the car and got it.

Me: Alright want to want for lunch and plus I have news for you.
Kelley: I saw a Newks down the road lets go the there.
Me: okay.

I found Newks and pulled in and parked. We got out and went in. We ordered and then found a table at the back.

Kelley: So what's your news?
Me: Well you already know that I'm being put in the U-20 team
Kelley: Yeah and?
Me: Well I got my contract the other day and it's signed, that's what my meeting is about today.
Kelley: Really! Do you have it with you and can I read it?
Me: Yeah it's right here and while you read I'm going to the bathroom.

I gave Kelley the contract and then went to the bathroom. Walking back to the table I saw Kelley's face and it was priceless. I sat back down with a smirk.
