How I became Savannah Solo Part 1

Thursday May 7th

                  

It was a normal day to begin with. I got up at 6 and got dressed. I put on my red converse, light wash skinny jeans, and my national team black t-shirt. Brad picked me up and we went to sonic. We got to school and went to first hour. First hour was quick with no problems, but 2nd hour is when my day changed.

I walked in with Brad and everybody was staring and talking about me. I went to the bathroom and I overheard people talking about me. They were calling me names like stuck up, rich bitch, attention whore, and a slut. I went back to Brad and I was really upset and I asked if he knew why everybody was talking about me. He didn't get to answer me because Mrs. Garvin walked in. People were still talking about me and I was getting worried. My phone started vibrating so I looked at it. It was my PR Kathrine so I told Garvin I had to take it and went out into the hallway.

Me: Hey Kathrine

Kathrine: Hey so your endorsement photos have been release and there is a controversy about you only being 16 and posing in a sports bra and what not

Me: So that's why everybody had been talking about me

Kathrine: Yes there had been a lot of talk but don't worry I have it handled. i just wanted to let you know I'm aware and working on it.

Me: Okay thank you. I have to go back to class

Kathrine: Okay bye Savannah

I was the talk of the school for the rest of the day. Brad dropped me off at home and I went inside. I was home alone so I went to my room and sat on the couch. I started checking my social media but I couldn't stay on it. A lot of the comments were really mean about how I had no boobs or that I was too young and a slut. I was just sitting on the couch listening to music when Alex Morgan had called me.

Me: Hey Alex

Alex: Hey Baby Horse I saw your photoshoot

Me: Yeah those

Alex: You don't sound excited what's wrong?

Me: Have you seen the comments? Some of them are really mean.

Alex: Did you ever see the comments on mine?

Me: Yeah I guess did

Alex: People are just mean. You know what though, they are all jealous. You are hot Savannah. You are skinny, toned, and you have great abs. So what you don't have boobs neither do I we are the same size. But all of that doesn't make us who we are. Our skill, talent, and personality is what makes us. Just remember that and nothing else will matter.

Me: Thank you Alex that really means a lot to me.

Alex: Good and also guess what

Me: what?

Alex: We have great butts and plus we can wear any bathing suit and its great isn't it

Me: yeah if they have our size

Alex: True well I have to go bye Baby Horse.

Me: Thank you for checking in. Bye Alex.

I hung up with Alex and got up off my couch. I turned on my playlist and put up my net. I rolled up my carpet and then changed into my work out clothes. I took out all frustrations on the ball and got completely lost in the zone. It had been about an hour and a half when my mom came into my room.

Mom: Savannah what's wrong you don't normally go this long unless your upset.

Me: My endorsement photos came out and there had been controversy about them and really mean comments about them. Alex called me and lifted me up a little but I guess I just got lost in the zone sorry.

Mom: Really I'm sorry. Can I see them?

Me: Yeah here just scroll through. They sent me all of them.

Mom: These look so good. i love how they had both single ones and the ones with Kelley.

Me: Oh yeah Kelley is it cool if she comes and stays with us the 10th- 17th?

Mom: Yeah that's fine your dad is actually going to be in Texas through now and next week.

Me: Okay well I am going to shower and call Kelley

Mom: Okay well I am going to bed goodnight.

Me: Night

I took down my net and put it away. I went to my bathroom and showered. I went back to my room and got dressed for bed. I climbed in bed and called Kelley.

Kelley: Hey Baby Horse did you see the photos?

Me: Yeah they looked great

Kelley: Yeah they did

Me: So you are still coming right?

Kelley: Yeah I am my flight gets in at 3 can you get me from the airport

Me: Yes I can and my last day of school is tomorrow so we can make plans to go the boardwalk and stuff

Kelley: Great well I have to go bye Baby Horse

Me: Bye Squirrel

I hung up and went to bed.
