How I became Savannah Solo Part 1

Saturday April 11th

    I woke up around 8 and Sasha and I went downstairs. Recovery at Regin didn't start till 10 so I let Hope sleep a little longer. At 8:50 I went up and knocked on Hope's door. I got no answer so I went in and found her sound asleep with her dress still on. I got a glass of water and some aspirin to put in her bedside table. I then woke her up. She groaned and rolled away from me.

Me: Oh no you're getting up!
Hope: *sitting up* I feel like I've been hit by a train
Me: Here's your aspirin and water. Be down by 9:30. We are leaving by 9:40 and I'm driving so move it!
Hope: ugh!

I left Hope and went back downstairs. I started the coffee pot. Hope came down and grabbed her cup and we got in the car. I drove up to the facility and parked. I got out and Hope begrudgingly followed. We went to the pool area and saw the girls. You could tell who stayed out and who didn't.

Pinoe: Dang Hope I don't think you'd be up.
Me: She wouldn't be if it wasn't for me.
Hope: I wish I wasn't
Me: You'll thank me later
Hope: Doubt it
Pinoe: Ouch Hope don't be so salty.
Me: And she says I'm the 5 year old
Hope: You are, now let's get started.

We got in the pool and did stretches. After the pool we got out and did a brief warm up and then did ice baths. Once Hope and I finished ours we went home. Hope went straight to bed and I started packing for California while I called Kelley.

Kelley: What's up Baby Horse?
Me: Not much just got back from recovery and now I'm packing for California.
Kelley: Oh me too. Except I don't have any of my swimsuits with me so when we get there I will have to buy one.
Me: It's okay because I will too.
Kelley: Oh good.
Me: Yeah. Oh and let me know when your done packing and I will come pick you up.
Kelley: I should be done in about 40 mins so I will call when I'm done.
Me: okay well I'll talk to you then
Kelley: Okay bye Baby Horse
Me: Bye Squirrel

I packed the team gear I needed and then my regular clothes. I put my makeup in its bag and then my hair stuff into my suitcase to finish. I then went down stairs and let Sasha and Onyx in. Onyx went to Hope's room and Sasha stayed with me. Kelley then called and said she was done packing. I grabbed the keys and Sasha and I got into the jeep. I got to Kelley's hotel and helped her with her bags. We grabbed lunch to go and headed back to Hope's house. We unloaded the jeep and went to the kitchen to put lunch on plates.

Kelley: Where's Hope?
Me: She's in bed
Kelley: I thought you had recovery this morning?
Me: We did and she barley got up for that. She went out with the girls last night to celebrate.
Kelley: Oh well she does party hard.
Me: Yeah she does, well I'm going to go wake her and get her to come eat something.
Kelley: Good luck with that
Me: Yeah I know.

I went upstairs and found Hope asleep buried by the covers. I went over and tapped her till she woke up.

Hope: What do you want?
Me: I went and picked up Kelley and some lunch so get up and come eat with us and the. We can watch a movie if you want.
Hope: Fine I'll be down in 5.
Me: I'll be waiting

I waked back down and sat with Kelley in the kitchen.

Kelley: How'd it go?
Me: Good she's up and should be down in 5
Kelley: Wow she listens
Me: Sometimes
Hope: Hey Squirrel, good game yesterday.
Kelley: Thanks even though we lost because no one can contain this Baby Horse!
Me: Yeah because you are fast enough. Hope knows that really well don't you?
Hope: Can it before you end up in the pool again
Me: Okay okay someone's a little grouchy
Kelley: When is she not?
Hope: Watch it Squirrel or you'll end up with her!
Kelley: Okay grouchy pants. How was your night out?
Hope: fun until I woke up this morning
Kelley: I know that feeling.
Me: hmm I don't
Hope and Kelley: and you won't for a while
(Both with mama bear glares)
Me: I know calm down moms

After Hope sat down we talked about California. Kelley and I came up with a schedule.
 
     Sunday - arrive, check into the hotel and then eat and go shopping for swim suits

     Monday - beats endorsement, free time

     Tuesday - day at the beach

      Wednesday- Nike endorsement and then fly back to Seattle.

Once we finished the schedule we moved to the living room and started the movie Jack Reacher. Once the movie finished I told Hope and Kelley that I had to go do my essay. I went up to my room and started my rough draft. It took me 2 hours to finish and once I did I went downstairs to ask Kelley you proofread it. While she did Hope said she was starting dinner and it would be ready at 7. Kelley finished and said to fix this sentence band the. It would be perfect. I grabbed Hope's laptop and went back to my room. I just started typing when Brad called.
    We talked about school and sports for a little bit. I told home I was almost done with all of my work and that I would email it to him by tomorrow night. He said okay and then we hung up so I could finish my essay.
I had one paragraph left when Kelley came up and said dinner was ready. I finished the paragraph and then went to the kitchen.
I sat down and we ate and talked about my contract and soccer season coming up. Once we finished Hope turned to us.

Hope: So sleeping arrangements, Kel you can either sleep with me or Baby Horse
Me: She can sleep with me
Kelley: I'm good with that
Hope: Okay well I'm going to put in a movie
Me: I have homework to finish so Ill join later.

I went back upstairs and emailed my essay before working on my Latin homework. I finally finished it and I put with the rest of my school work to fax to Brad. I went down stairs and watched the end of World War Z. When the movie ended we all got up and went to bed. I let Kelley use the bathroom first and then I did. We climbed into bed and went to sleep.
