How I became Savannah Solo Part 1

Sunday April 26th

         Chloe and I woke up the next day at 10. We went out to the living room. My dad had already left for work so it was just Chloe, my mom, and me. Mom said that they delivered a really big and a small box earlier this morning. It was my couch bed and the net I ordered to go under my loft. Chloe got the small box and me and my mom grabbed the big box and brought it into the living room. We opened the boxes and put the couch underneath my loft. We set up the net so whenever I wanted to use it I just had to hang up the one side of it. We threw always all of the packaging and then Chloe's Mam-Maw called and said that she would pick Chloe up at 5. We had 4 hours so I took Chloe with me to go pick out a rug for my room. Finally after 2 hours I found the perfect rug. It was a solid black shaggy rug. We stopped for dinner at Canes on the way home. We got home at 4:40 and Chloe got her stuff ready, After Chloe left I went through the random stuff that had been in my room. I threw most of it. The little I did keep I put away and I was finally finished with my whole room. Now that I was done, I FaceTimed Kelley.

Kelley: Baby Horse how are you?

Me: I'm good but tired. I just finished my room.

Kelley: Let me see!

Me: Okay well here is the loft and the couch

Kelley: that's so cool.

Me: I know here is the TV my parents got me and now finally the closet.

Kelley: Damn Baby Horse that is better than mine

Me: oh I have one more thing let me show you.

I put my phone on the shelf and then put up the net.

Me: I have my own personal net in my room. I am going to use it for first touches and crap.

Kelley: That's amazing

Me: Yeah so do you want to come stay with me sometime?

Kelley: Yes I miss my girl! How about May 10th – 17th?

Me: That's perfect because my awards day is on the 15th

Kelley: Really I can help you pick out a dress

Me: Good because I will need some help

Kelley: That's true. Anyways I need to go to bed I have training in the morning

Me: Man I wish I had training but I have school

Kelley: Sucks! Bye have fun Baby Horse.

Me: I know. Bye Squirrel

I hung with Kelley and got ready for bed. I got in bed with my laptop and checked my emails. I had emails from Coach French, Coach Jill and Nike.

To Savannah Solo

Hey Savannah I have somewhat of a schedule for you. You will fly out on June 15th for team camp and then we will head to Germany for a tournament. After Germany you will have 2 weeks off (June 28th – July 11th) Your flight will leave at 12 from Shreveport. You will fly into Houston to meet up with the team for a flight going to California at 4. Wear your travel suit and pack all your team gear. Mail your cleats to this address and we will take care of them as well as all practice and game uniforms, so don't worry about that. All you need to pack is clothes for off days and around the hotel plus anything else you would normally pack for a trip. You will get plans for after the break later. I then opened the email from Coach Jill.

To Savannah Solo,

Hey Savannah, I saw your games with Seattle Reign against Sky Blue and Portland. Your goals were amazing. I wanted to invite you to our team camp. It is July 3rd -10th; I hope you can make it. I know you can't be on the team till your 18 but I looked into and it never said you couldn't be a guest for training. I t will be good to have you getting to know the team. If you can make it please let me know soon.

Hello Savannah we wanted to know if you wanted to do another photoshoot on May 13th. You can bring along any of your pro soccer friends or come alone it's up to you. Let us know if you can and who you can bring.

I shut down my computer and texted Coach Barron that I need to meet with him. He said the next morning in his classroom at 7:20. I said thank you and went to bed.
