How I became Savannah Solo Part 1

Thursday May 14th

We woke up at 8 and packed our bags. We loaded up the jeep and checked out of our hotel. We stopped at ihop before we started our drive home. We got a table and sat down. I texted my mom that we were eating and then we would be on our way home. We finished eating and then got back in the jeep. We turned on our playlist and took our shifts driving. We made it home at 4. We unloaded the jeep and went to my room. I went to my closet and changed and came back out.

Me: Hey I am going for a run because I haven't worked out all week.
Alex: Wait and give me minute I want to go
Kelley: I'm good
Hope: Yeah Baby Horse your too fast. Take your twin you two are a perfect match.
Alex: Oh whatever you're just jelly that you can't keep up
Me: Yeah your just jelly.

Alex and I stretched and the started our run. We ran to and around my high school and then back. It was about 5 miles and it took us about 45 minutes. We came back and went to my room. Kelley was checking emails and Hope was reading.

Hope: 45 minutes how far did you go?
Alex: 5 miles and your right she is fast, but it's a good thing I can keep upMe: Yeah good thing we didn't race so I didn't have to beat you
Kelley: Oh sounds like a challenge
Alex: Don't worry we will race sometime
Me: Okay good. You can shower in my bathroom. I will shower in my mom's
Hope: Oh yeah your mom said dinner would be ready around 8
Me: Okay thanks. Did she say where she went?
Kelley: Yeah she went to the store
Me: Oh thanks

I went to my mom's room and showered. I wrapped my towel around me and went to my closet to change. Alex came in and changed too. I went to the kitchen and helped my mom while I told her about next week.

Me: So Hope said Seattle Reign needed me to play next week with them so it's cool if I fly back with Hope right?
Mom: Yeah that's fine. Your dad should be home tomorrow so let him know. When do you fly out?
Me: Sunday
Mom: Okay I can drive you guys because I'm guessing that's when Kelley and Alex are leaving.
Me: Yeah they are
Mom: okay well go get the girls dinner is ready.
Me: (yelling down the hall) Alex, Hope, Kelley dinner's ready!

The 3 of them came out and into the kitchen. We are having chicken, green beans, and rolls. We all got our plates and went through the line and sat down.

Mom: So I know Hope and Savannah are going to Seattle what about you two?
Alex: Well I am flying to Portland first for a couple days and then I fly with my team to New Jersey to play Kelley's team
Kelley: I fly to New Jersey and we play Portland on Friday
Mom: Oh that's cool
Alex: Yeah I'm glad we had this week off because I'm not sure if I have another one until camp.
Kelley: Same
Hope: Same
Me: I have some time until the 5th and then I am booked all summer
Mom: it's going to be a quiet around here
Me: Yup

We finished dinner and then played games until we went to bed at 11.
