Tony Stark silently waited in the moonlit forest clearing, silver light touched the frosty grass in its beautiful light. He felt good in his new armour suit, it was the most powerful left.
" Avengers, do you copy, I'm in position," Tony asked.
" Yes, we're here for backup," Thor answered clearly.
Tony knew the description of the girl, she was supposed to be wearing a black cloak with a hood so you couldn't see her face. A young girl wandered in to the clearing. This couldn't be her, she was quite too young. She was supposed to be twenty by now. Except that she looked exactly like the description. Tall, with dark brown hair, pale skin and brown eyes. She was beautiful in fact, in her black coat with a hood. The moonlight shone on her pretty face. Tony got ready to blast her with just enough energy to keep her alive and at the same time, knock her out for enough time to take her back to the helicarrier and put her in their new prison cell. He waited just a few more moments. The girl seemed to be looking for someone.
" Oh where are you sister?" She muttered to herself.
" I am not staying at home, protected from others while you go out at night," she added with annoyance in her tone, but panic and fear as well.
Tony waited, one, two, three, here we go, fire. He let forth a blast of energy from his suit and with a bang she fell backwards, lying motionless in the grass.
" Yes, mission accomplished," Tony yelped in excitement and triumph. He walked out of his hiding place and stooped next to the girl.
The Wolf Queen was ready to go to prison, in safe hands now. Something was wrong though, her chest wasn't moving up and down with each breath. She wasn't breathing. He checked her pulse, nothing, her eyes were staring at the sky, she was dead! He prepared to try and revive her and got ready with his hands. A force smashed in to him, the breath was driven out of him as he was thrown backwards. With a large crash he hit a tree and turned to face his enemy. A girl of about thirteen knelt down beside the dead girl. Tears streamed down hire pale face, she looked exactly like the dead girl. She wore a black cloak with a hood and it fell off as she bent down.
" Eliza, no!" Cried the girl.
Her voice was heartbroken and she stared at her dead sister. Blue light sprang from her pale hands and enveloped her dead twin. It shimmered and danced around them both. Eliza blinked open her brown eyes slowly.
" Hey sis, can you do me a favour?" Eliza asked in a weak, shaky voice.
" Yes, anything at all," Her sister sobbed.
" Alex, you have to promise me that whatever you do, you will protect this earth, the people need you more than me, Wolf Queen," Eliza murmured with a croaky, strained voice.
She let out a sigh and breathed her last. Alex looked like the world had just caved in.
" No! Eliza, This is no time to be taking a nap, you have to be okay, I'll do anything," Alex sobbed in a voice so filled with sorrow that it made Tony's throat choke up too. He was horrified, he'd killed an innocent girl by mistake and had destroyed the mission. What had he done? This was a thirteen year old girl who had just lost her twin sister, he hadn't noticed that Eliza had had brown eyes, not yellow. He knew now that he had destroyed this girl's heart.
"  Come on Eliza, father said we had to come here for help, we have, now you just need to hold on now. I can heal you if you just stay with me. Your promised me you would never leave my side, don't break that promise now," Alex cried.
" I'm sorry," a voice on the wind whispered.
Alex wailed out her grief as she cradled her sister's he in her lap. She put down her sister suddenly and backed away a few paces. Then she did the most extraordinary thing, she started to sing. Her voice was the most stunning voice he had ever heard, even choked up with sobs it sounded beautiful. She sang a small song, all the while holding up her hands. It was a lullaby.
" Hush now my darling, be still now don't cry, soon you will be okay. Even though you may be scared I'm always with you in your heart," Alex sang to her sister.
As she sang, blue and purple flowers bloomed from the ground, covering the place her sister lay, as Eliza faded. The flowers were stunning and marked the spot of her death as her sister faded in to the sky. Alex looked up at the sky as another constellation joined the current star patterns. The constellation of Eliza. Alex smiled with one last tear in her eyes. Her sister was finally at peace.
Tony stepped out of the shadows, he was behind her. He could blast her now, with his backup blast, he knew it would be easy but he couldn't. He couldn't do this now, could he?
" Tony?" Captain America inquired over the intercom.
He knew he had to do something, he had to complete the plan, no matter what happened.
" I'm sorry," Tony said quietly.
He let loose the backup blast. The bluish coloured energy connecting with the girl as she realise she was still there. He expected her to drop but the energy just crackled around her.
" YOU KILLED ELIZA!" She yelled with so much fury and pain in her voice it made him stop dead.
She stamped her foot and a storm shook the forest. Tony was thrown backwards from the gale force winds but Alex just had advanced slowly and menacingly. She was so furious it was impossible for her to think about anything else.
Tony took flight, racing to his backup. The other avengers had heard what had happened and were ready. Hawkeye patted him on the back sympathetically. The form of Alex appeared out of nowhere,  right in front if them, she looked positively furious.
" Time to pay for what you have done," Alex growled in an icy voice.
She unleashed her power on them as all the avengers were thrown backwards.
