Chapter Eight

By lunch, everyone was talking about the whole 'Jack Johnson' incident on my phone, and has either attempted to kill me, befriend me, or steal Jack's phone.

But I still couldn't get the thought of Jack trying to call me out of my head. It's the first time he's ever called me throughout all the days he had my phone.

But man, his timing sucks.

Speaking of the devil, Jack's phone buzzed from within my pocket, as I pulled it and checked my phone. Some desperate people gathered arpund me, as I looked at the message on the lunch table. Bianca glared, not liking all the attention. Not that I loved it so much either.

From: Ella

Hey, how's hell-hole?

There were a bunch of sighs, laughs, and scoffs thrown my way, loud enough to pull the last straw.

To: Ella

Can't talk rn sorry

I replied and put his phone away. I felt another buzz vibrating through my jeans, but I tried the best I could to ignore it. The audience then groaned, walking away from my table, finding out 'their show' isn't going on anymore.

"What'd you tell him?" Bia asked as Nick slid down beside Bianca, kissing her cheek, then involving himself in the conversation.

"I told him I couldn't talk." I mumbled, still upset at the fact that everybody's attention was still on me, expecting me to reply to Jack's text.

"You can't just shut him out." Bia said, and Nick nodded.

"It isn't his fault that everybody here are nosey jack-asses."

I know it isn't Jack's fault, I really do. But, I just wish they didn't have to pry through my private life. I mean, it's bad enough I get a detention for not answering a freaking text, but now everybody wants to know me, or Jack.

Making myself even more upset, I shook my head, then exited the cafeteria.

A/N - I AM SO SORRY. I totally forgot I hadn't updated in a while, and school is so much more stress than I thought it would...

But eh.

Anyways, I really hope you enjoyed this chapter-filler (I know it sucks) but prepare yourselves for some Jella feels next chapter ;)
