Kagami x Reader - Competition

This is after season 3 finale! So spoilers if you haven't seen it.

You stood on the basketball court and smiled at the blond haired boy in front of you. You dribbled the ball forward and then stop, making the boy get confused, but then the confusion was cleared up when you did Akashi's famous ankle breaker. As he fell his hair flew up and you could see his wide eyes. You dribbled it past him in a quick sprint and then shot a two-pointer. You heard footsteps coming up behind you so you turned around and saw the sweaty boy.

"You never fail to amaze me (L/N)cchi. You're almost as good as Kagami." Kise said proudly, ruffling up your hair that you had pulled back.

"Whoever that is I know I'm probably better." You said confidently. Secretly you knew Kagami because you met him after his game with Akashi. You two hit it off immediately and started meeting up, but you didn't want Kise to know this. Kise laughed and then sighed.

"You're just like your brother."

"Well I am Seijuro's sister so it makes sense." You said smirking. A lightbulb obviously hit Kise because he held up his pointing finger as if he had an idea.

"You don't know Kagami do you?" He asked with a devious smile.

"I know of him but no I don't personally know him. Seijuro talked about losing to him so I would love to meet him." You said excitedly. Kise nodded and at that moment his phone rang.

"Hello....I was actually going to call you.......For a competition.....With Akashicchi's relative......Oh you're close.....Be here in fifteen minutes......Five? Ok great thanks." Kise hung up with a huge smile on his face.

"Was that Kagami?" You asked curiously and Kise nodded. You were ready for this. You redid your hair so that it didn't get in your face and then started drinking water. You heard footsteps and you looked up to see a huge red head walking towards you as Kise with a bag slung over his shoulder and a smaller blue haired boy walking beside him.

"Hey Kise." Kagami said, dumping his bag down.

"Hi Kagamicchi, Kurokocchi." Kise replied and the blue haired boy simply nodded.

"Kagami." You said and the red haired boy looked up, indicating that he was Kagami and the blue haired boy was Kuroko. Kagami looked at you and then winked, indicating that you had to play along and he realised it was you.

"Kise why did you bring a girl?" He asked. You crossed your arms over our chest and looked him up and down. Come to think of it, you did know Kagami, you had spoken to him a few times. You had always remembered admiring Kagami when he played.

"It's not nice to trash talk your competition yanno." You said smirking.

"A girl is my competition? You never mentioned this Kise." He shouted.

"I wouldn't underestimate her Kagami Taiga. She's almost as good as me." A new familiar voice said. You turned around and saw Akashi. You ran towards him and into his open arms. Both of you hugged and then let go of each other and walked towards the wide eyes of Kagami and Kuroko.

"I never knew you had a cousin Akashi."Kuroko said.

"Correction, sister." It didn't seem like they were expecting that.

"I will watch from the side with Kuroko while Kise is refereeing." Akashi said. All of you nodded.

You and Kagami both walked into the court and you noticed that he had taken off his hoodie, leaving him in a thin tight fitting shirt. You on the other hand were in a sports bra and a pair of boys shorts. You stood at the tip off and for once in your life you were going to be slightly affected by your smaller frame. Kise threw the ball up and both of you jumped for it. Kagami's hand got to it before you and he grabbed a hold of it.

"Tch, stupid tall people." You muttered as he landed. He started dribbling really fast and he got a basket instantly. You just stood in the middle not moving.

Fifteen minutes had passed and Kagami had scored 34 points. It had got that high because you had just stood there. Kise, Kagami and Kuroko were very confused but Akashi knew your plan.

"What are you doing just standing there (L/N)cchi?" Kise asked, but that just had you smirking. Kagami stood in front of you even though he didn't need to. He dribbled it and then sprinted towards the basket but instead of actually dunking it he went to take a shot. You turned around and sprinted with incredible power towards him and you jumped in front of him, blocking his shot. As the ball left his hand you hit it down and then when you hit the ground you sprinted after it with determination. After grabbing the ball you heard Kagami's footsteps behind you and you knew he was going to go after it so you switched it to the other hand and continued to dribble. You ran up to the basket and dunked the ball into it. At one point during the process, Kagami started to beat you but you were determined not to lose so you submerged yourself into the zone and started to win back your points.

It was the last 25 seconds in the game and you were both tied and this was the decider. You were currently standing in front of Kagami, he was dribbling the ball and Akashi was cheering for you while Kuroko cheered for Kagami in his monotone voice. You were paying attention to the ball that it was a bit too late when you realised that Kagami was trying to ankle break you. How had he learned that, you thought to yourself. You fell to the ground but before you could hit it, you caught your self then stood up before he could get far away. He tried to do it again but you weren't falling for it, but somehow he managed to do it. As you were falling you knocked the ball out of his hand while he was in mid dribble.

"I won't let you beat me with that move." You said in an annoyed tone. You got up quickly and then got in a shooting position but your vision was blocked by Kagami jumping into your field of vision. You took a few steps backwards and then shot the basketball out of your hand and into the net. The buzzer on Kise's phone rang indicating the end of the game with you as the winner. Kagami looked devastated, as if he couldn't believe he had been beat. Akashi came walking over calmly and then he hugged you.

"You're definitely better than me sister." You smiled and hugged him back before going to see Kagami.

"Are you ok Kagami?" You asked him, putting a hand on his head. He looked up at you, with teary eyes.

"I've never really been beaten before and it's a shock." You sat down beside him and put your arm around his waist. He smiled at you and looked into your (E/C) eyes. Both of you leaned closer to each other and at that moment Kuroko, Akashi and Kise came over.

"Well done on the win (L/N)cchi." Kise said and Kuroko just nodded as well. Akashi out his hand on your shoulder.

"I'll see you at home later." You nodded and then Akashi went over to Kagami and whispered something in his ear. Kagami's eyes widened and then nodded frantically. They all left and when they did both of you leaned in again and your lips touched gently.

"The only one that can love you is me." Kagami said with a smile.

"You just stole that from Aomine didn't you?" You asked laughed.

"Maybe." He replied. Kagami stood up and then helped you up and you both walked hand-in-hand out the court. You turned to Kagami and smiled.

"I also love you as well." You replied.
