Gio’s POV

Today’s my first day in Yonkers, my plane just landed about 3 hours ago, and I landed around 11 or 12. The sun isn’t even out. Georgia and New York weather are completely different. I was kind of jetlagged so when I got to the Marriott, I took a long nap. I woke up around 5. I hopped out of the plush duvet and took a shower. I dressed in my street clothes and began to walk out of my suite. I don’t have time to check out the amenities because I got business to handle. Time is money, and I don’t have time to waste on a pool. I’m not going to lie, the temptation in New York is real, but I’m not even thinking about these girls. Aubree’s the only girl on my mind and I plan on keeping it like that. I got two business deals today. That’s the other reason I needed to come to Yonkers, it was to get at old boy, but I also got roots I’m trying to sow. I’m trying to expand the empire, you know get a few warehouses in the north as well as the south. It was a little chilly up here. So before leaving the hotel, I grabbed my hoodie. I pulled it over my head and put my hood on. Stepping outside you can easily see the difference between the north and the south. While Georgia was slow paced and calm, New York was fast and busy. People of all different backgrounds blazing by you, without a second glance. In the short time I was here, I had to snap on a few people for bowing me and stepping on my shoes, just rude. I have a meeting at 7 with this dude from some island in the Caribbean’s, trying to do international affairs. I head to go get something to eat. Its 6:30 and I’m about to go on over to the little club in Yonkers. Walking in I received a few head nods and gave a few handshakes, but other than that I kept to myself. A few desperate girls throw themselves at me, but I don’t even look at them twice. I was ready to sell this little supply and get these dudes on my team. I knew not to come alone so I brought Dru and his cousin with me. True enough, as soon as I walked into the private booth the man had reserved, his ” entourage” gathered around him like he’s the damn president. I sat down on the cushioned seats and chilled. No pressure.

“You got it?” he asks, straight to the money                .

“Yeah, here it is” I throw the duffle bag on the table separating us. His henchmen unzip the bag, verifying that I wasn’t a threat to their “boss”.

While he was looking through the supplies I decided to text bree. We had little conversations, but nothing satisfying enough. It wasn’t like seeing my baby every day. I miss her ass. Her crazy self, she’s got me wide open.
