Lukas had overslept, seeing as he was exhausted from so much in one day. So, when Mathias woke up, he went ahead and went to the room, checking on Lukas. Since the Norwegian had still been snoozing, Mathias grabbed some clothes for the day, walking to the bathroom. He quickly got changed before walking downstairs, making breakfast.
After what seemed to be mere minutes (it had actually been half an hour), Lukas had woken up. He was slow when he first woke up, taking a few moments to realize where he was. Once he realized, he got up, stretching. He popped his back as he stood up. He, then, found himself an outfit for the day, going to the washroom to dress.
By then, Dr. Kohler had finished making a breakfast that consisted of bacon, eggs, and sausage. Soon enough, Lukas had stumbled down the stairs, rubbing at his eyes. Mathias looked up, smiling.
"Good morning!" He looked at the other.
"Morning," Lukas mumbled, yawning. He wasn't much of a morning person. On the other hand, Mathias was an every part of the day person. Odd.
Mathias made Lukas and himself a plate, setting it down, gesturing for the other to sit. For some odd reason, Lukas felt uncomfortable. Maybe because he was forced to sleep in a stranger's house? Because this strange man is offering him food? Mathias is a doctor, but the Norwegian still couldn't figure if he was trust-able.
Then again, the Dane hadn't murdered him in his sleep, so, there's something. Anyway, he accepted the breakfast, sitting down, eating.
After the two ate breakfast, Mathias started to wash the dishes. "I can help," Lukas looked at him.
"No, you're the guest! I'll do it!" Mathias smiled.
"But, you let me sleep in your bed and stay here...it's the least I could do," Lukas kept his gaze on the other.
"Fine," Mathias chuckled, rolling his eyes, "You can rinse." Lukas nodded, walking up next to the other, helping him with the dishes.
By the time they finished, the kitchen was full of water and soap suds.
It had started with Mathias washing a spoon, it spraying water all over Lukas. So, Lukas got a cup and filled it, dumping it over the other's head. That resulted in Mathias using the sprayer, soaking Lukas head to toe. The Norwegian then went along and squirted the Dane with the soap, so Mathias threw the wet sponge at him.
This went on for quiet a while before they made a truce. Both soaked with pruney fingers in the end.
Mathias was laughing and Lukas was smiling, though you'd never notice if you weren't in his face.
Dr. Kohler shook his head, droplets of water going everywhere. Whereas, Lukas was using his hands to wring out his hair and clothing, taking out his hair clip, setting it on the table. This resulted in his bangs covering half of his face, though, he just swiped them aside.
Mathias looked over, "That got a bit out of hand," he laughed.
"You started it," Lukas looked back.
Mathias shrugged, "Want a towel?"
"No, I'll enjoy to get a cold," Lukas said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. Mathias chuckled.
"Okay, C.A."
"C.A.?" Lukas was confused.
"Captain Obvious, duh," Mathias said as though it was obvious.
"But....obvious starts with an 'o' so wouldn't it be C.O.?"
"Does it matter? It's awesome!" Mathias smiled, chuckling.
"I guess not..." Lukas stared at him, worried a bit for his mental health. He didn't know what the other's mind was like, nor did he want to.
Something about Mathias made Lukas wonder. He was so childish, yet one of the best doctors he's seen in his lifetime. How is this? Was it some sort of secret or something?
Anyhow, Mathias went to go get some towels and Lukas put his cross clip back in, waiting for the other.
And just like that, the adventure had begun.
--627 words!!
Okay, so that was short by like 400 words, sorry, but writer's block kicked in.
Also, Captain Obvious being C.A. is a little thing with my friend, her stepmom and I. Since I'm going to her house this weekend, I decided to use it.
Also, I won't include much memory loss in a few chapters because my Nanny-Nancy has just passed away a few days ago and she had terrible memory loss and it makes me think of her. Also, my updates won't involve many cars or car related things, seeing as in the past two weeks, I have almost been hit by 5 cars and seen now 2 wrecks, which is really scaring me.
Anyways, I'm sorry for the shortie chapter, the next will be 1,000 words at least (hopefully).
Thank you for reading!!!!!!!!!!!
