Kala's POV:

I heard footsteps in the distance, and in 5 seconds, Jax was by my side. "Look, Kala, I know this isn't easy for you, but you have to take advantage of this. The Master would be the happiest he's ever been if he knows I found you. So, we have to go see The Master and tell him. Maybe, these powers of yours can save the world one day." He stopped and smiled at me. His teeth were so white, they were like snowflakes. I smiled too. Then, we got up and started walking over to The Master's castle.

"Are you sure he'll be happy when he sees me? Won't he think I'm an intruder or something?" I asked Jax as we stood outside the castle. He shook his head. "Don't worry, I'll tell him and the guards. They'll surly let us in." We walked up to the entrance and one of the guards asked for Jax's ID card. He took it out to let the guard examine it, then the other guard did what i expected he would do. "Who's she?" Jax looked around to see if know one was around, and leaned in closer to the guard. "The fire element!" He whisper-shouted. It was kind of funny, he sounded like a girl. I laughed a little as the guards eyes turned wide and their jaws dropped to the floor. They bowed. "Welcome, my lady." They said as I walked in. Now this is what I call royalty!

After walking up about 30 flights of stairs and finding out there was an elevator when we got to the top, we were at The Master's door. I was a little nervous...... Okay, really nervous. Jax must've sensed it or something. "Hey, it's okay. He's totally chill." We knocked and a booming voice yelled for us to come in. We pushed open the giant doors that loomed over us and stepped inside the room. The roof was extremely tall, probably as high as the clouds. There were huge stain glass windows on the right side of the castle over-looking the village. In the center of the room, a huge carpet that was red and gold. A big, golden throne sat at the end of the room, and sitting in it was The Master. He was a giant! He was super tall. He got up and got onto his knees. "Hey Jax! It's a pleasure seeing you again!" Jax nodded and smiled. "Who's this?" The Master asked and looked down at me. "Oh, hello, your majesty. My name is Kala, a-and I'm th-the fire e-element."

He literally jumped up and down, like a 2-year old getting a piece of candy. "Jax, you finally found her?!" He asked in disbelief. Jax nodded. "Yup!"
"Well, show me what you could do!" The Master yelled. I nodded, then took a deep breath, and instantly, fire appeared in my hands. I looked around for cardboard or something to shoot at. Jax and I had been practicing the whole time we were going here. I found a pile of boxes. "Do you need these?" I asked. The Master shook his head. "Knock yourself out!" I got into my 'ready' stance, and shot the fire toward the boxes. In an instant, they lit up in flames. Jax put it out with his 'Elsa breath' or so we call it. "That was incredible! Now, I need to put it to the test. Follow me." We followed The Master into a room. It was empty except for a little table, a giant TV, and a monitor. "Hey, can you teleport my sister here?" Jax asked. The Master nodded and closed his eyes.

Right in front of me, Jax's sister appeared. I jumped back at the sudden appearance. She laughs. "Haha! Bet you didn't see that coming, did ya?" I'm guessing she's gonna be the most enthusiastic one. "No", I laugh, "anyway, what's your name?" She shakes my hand. "Terra. You're Kala, right?"
"Yep, that's me!"
Terra looks over at Jax and raises her eyebrows. "Well," she whispers to him, "you're girlfriend is cute!" Jax looks at me and blushes. "She is not my girlfriend Terra! I thought I told you to stop-" Jax is interrupted by The Master. "Well, let's get started!"

As we head to the table, Jax apologizes. "Sorry, she always does that...." He rubs the back of his neck. I nod and laugh a little. "Okay Kala, just get on this table and we'll be on our way." I walked over to the table and lied down flat. "What's he gonna do?" I asked Terra. She laughs AGAIN. "Don't worry, he's just gonna give you a shot to make you sleepy, and see what you dream about and stuff like that to test how strong and rare your powers are. We all had that happen to us." She looked more sad and afraid now. I got scared. All of the sudden, I felt something sting a lot on my arm. I winced. "Yea, hurts more than you thought, right?" Said Terra. But I was already starting to get tired. I didn't really want to do this, but it's for the sake of the world, maybe. I closed my eyes and let sleep take over.

I was in a car with a family. I didn't even know who they were. A girl and a boy younger than me were on both sides of me, the boy playing a DS and the girl looking at a map of something. There was a woman and a man sitting in the front. The woman was driving and they were both singing a song on the radio. It seemed kind of familiar. Suddenly, the car jerked forward and started spinning. I stared around in bewilderment. The girl and the boy were screaming. Then the car flipped upside down. The woman started talking. "Guys, we're going to be okay-" she was cut off by another car smashing into us. I saw blood starting to drip from the family in the car. Then, I screamed out words I didn't intend to say. "Mom!"

My eyes flew open and I sat up fast. I was breathing rapidly and looking around. I realized I was in the testing room, and Terra and the Master were looking at the TV with wide eyes. Oh no. They must've been watching my dream! The first thing I asked surprised me. "Where's Jax?" Terra turned to look at me. "He had to walk out of the room. He didn't want to watch." I got up and opened the door. He was standing right outside the door. "You alright?" I asked him. He jumped. "Sorry I didn't notice you. Are you alright?"
"Yea"
He suddenly hugged me. I stood there for a second. It felt good getting a hug from someone. It wasn't warm though. I hugged him back anyway. "I don't care if it burns me, I still like it." I realized I was burning Jax.
