Terra's POV:

"Finally, we get a break!" I yelled as I plopped down on a nice, soft bed. Since Henry found all this money in his jacket and pockets, and his credit card, we rented a room in a hotel. "I want to sleep for 10 years and have this all be over!" Henry screamed. Kala and Emerald laughed. "And then maybe the world just might be peaceful again." The room fell silent at that note.

Henry looked around. "Hehe, bad time for that?" We nodded and he blushed. "Well, since you set the mood Henry, I have to say something." Kala gave Henry a look and looked at Jax. "When you were kinda dying, did you see a light?" Jax looked confused for a second, then nodded. "Well," Kala started, "that was me. I was so worried about you. This weird light appeared on your chest when I hugged you, but I didn't know what it was. Is it bad? Is it my fault?" Kala looked worried again. Jax was confused again, but his eyes slowly widened. He put his hands in his hair. "Jax, are you okay?" I asked. He didn't respond. He stayed like that for a long time, then blinked. Everyone looked at him.

"I lost a power." Jax said so softly that I didn't hear him the first time. "What did you say?" Emerald asked. He shook his head. "It's nothing. Never mind." I looked at him suspiciously. "If it was nothing, you wouldn't have looked so scared. Tell us what it was." I told him. He looked at me straight in the eyes. I felt a chill go down my spine, but it wasn't from the cold. His eyes showed sheer terror. "I lost a power!" He yelled. We jumped back in surprise. "Can that actually happen?!" Kala questioned him. He nodded his head. "Yes! I felt weaker after that happened, and I thought it was just because of the thing. But I guess it wasn't!"

We sat in the hotel room trying to figure out which one of his ice abilities went away. "Well, just try them all out. Whichever one doesn't work, that's how you'll know." John suggested. Jax shrugged and went to an empty part of the room.

He tried every ice ability he knew. Finally, he was down to the last one. "Okay, this is it..." Jax closed his eyes and nothing happened for a second, then the whole room turned into ice. "Woah, you can do that?!" I yelled. "That's awesome!" I jumped off the bed and attempted to ice skate. "Yea, but I don't understand. What power did I loose?" Jax thought aloud.

We all sat on the bed again. Jax made the ice go away and now I was bored. Everyone was still trying to find out which power he lost. Jax was pacing around the room, concerned about it. "Come on guys. Apparently Jax was just over reacting. He didn't loose a power." I told them. Suddenly, Jax stopped pacing.

He stayed perfectly still, like a statue. "Jax, what's wrong?" Emerald asked. Then, his legs gave out somehow and he landed on the ground with a thud. "I can't feel my legs! Help!" He screamed. Kala ran over to him. "He must have lost his ability to walk." John said. Kala picked him up and gently put him on the couch. "It's probably nothing, let's go to bed." Jax told everyone, and we all went to bed. I was so tired I could barely think. I was so glad to got to sleep.

Kala's POV:

I woke early in the morning to a noise in the bathroom. I looked around, and only Jax was missing. But I thought Jax couldn't walk? I thought. I went and knocked on the door. "Jax, are you alright in there? I thought you couldn't walk." First, silence. Then he replied. "Just come in here. You need to see this." I shrugged and walked in.

Jax's legs were perfectly fine. My eyes widened as I looked at him more. He was standing, but he was different. His eyes were wide, but more with excitement. "You have wings!" I yelled. He smiled. "Yea, I guess so! I lost my ability to see the future, and I woke up because I felt something in my back. I crept into the bathroom and wondered why I could walk. I guess that was just a temporary thing, and I got wings instead. Isn't it cool?!" I stared at him for a long time, then nodded. "Um, yea! Cool!" I walked out of the bathroom and woke everyone up. I turned on the lights as Terra grunted. "Come on, I was having the best dream!" I shook my head and giggled. "That doesn't matter. Go look at Jax!" They all walked in the bathroom and walked out with amazed expressions on their faces.

"I still can't believe you have wings! Now you can carry people too." Emerald exclaimed. Jax looked at her. "Well, I don't even know how to use them. I should probably get used to them first." "Oh yea, I have a question." I said immediately after he stopped. Everyone turned to look at me. "When you told me you lost your ability to see the future, how do you know?"

The group sighed. I could tell they all knew something I didn't. I was used to that by now, but I need to learn. I looked at them expectantly, and finally John looked straight at me.

"Okay, this may sound a little weird but-" I interrupted him. "I'm used to weird by now, and you know that." He nodded, then continued.

"When someone looses a power, the Master will know instantly. He will send them a dream about what power they lost, whether they lost both, one, or any number of powers they have. You will know when you come back to life and have none of that power with you. The Master or another person will tell you which one you lost. It may be when you are currently dead, a long time after the incident happened, or the night after. If you have one power, like me or Terra, you'd better hope you don't die."
