Jason's POV:

We were still in Alaska, and we haven't even walked yet. It was taking SO long! I just wanted this all to be over. Why did I agree to this? "Are we there yet?!" Terra asked. "NO!" We all shouted. She's asked that question since we started. Terra looked down at the ground.

We kept on walking, walking, walking, and walking until we got to a little hill. We all sat down to take a break.

After a while, I was looking into the woods. Then, I heard something in the sky, and looked up.

Terra's POV:

I looked up at the sky. Two people were up there, flying? Kala shouted. "Hello, excuse me! Can you help us?!" They stopped and flew lower. I could see them more clearly now. They were twins. They had black hair, light skin, and they were average height. One was a boy and one was a girl. "Hi! Why are you guys out in the middle of an Alaskan forest?" The girl asked. "Well, you see, we just fought off the Beast. Our car fell off a cliff, so now we have to walk." Jax told them. "We can give you guys a hand." The boy said. John spoke up then. "Thanks. And what are your guys' names?"
"I'm Emerald and this is Henry." Emerald said. "Great names, now let's go!" Jason exclaimed. I think he was just tired.

We talked for a while longer and told them where we were going. The even congratulated us on defeating the Beast. Everyone knows it is almost impossible to defeat him. And he has a lot of different lives. Every time he loses one, he goes to a different place to destroy. That's the hard part. Henry took Jax, John, and Jason. All the J's. Emerald took Kala and I. It wasn't the most relaxing trip in the world, but I could live with that. "Hey, maybe Jax and Kala could ride together, since you know." I raised my eyebrows. Kala blushed and giggled and Jax laughed a little. Jason replied instead. "You're all about drama, aren't you?" I laughed. "Ha, YEAH!"

It was getting really dark, so we decided to rest for the night. Kala started a small fire for us and we all huddled around it. Kala sat on Jax's lap of course. Just to keep warm, but I didn't get that. "Guys, why is walking so hard?" Jax asked. "Oh it isn't hard, you're just lazy." Kala said. We all laughed. Maybe this trip isn't going to be so bad after all.

Or so I thought

We all went to bed in our big tent. I woke up when Kala jerked awake. Probably just a nightmare. I thought. She ran over to me. "What's going on?!" I asked her. Her eyes were wide and all I saw in them was fear. "Th-the smoke!" My eyes widened too. "Wake everyone up!" I ordered her. We woke everyone up and told them to get out of the tent. Kala took the lead. "This way!" We followed her. We looked behind us as the smoke got closer. I felt like we're missing someone. Then I remembered. "Jason!" Everyone stopped. We looked back to the tent, and saw him running out of it. "Guys help!!" Jax and I ran over to help him, but Emerald, Henry, Kala, and John held us back. "We need to help him!" Jax yelled. It was too late. The smoke had already devoured him. After a while, it disappeared. Then, I saw him.

Kala's POV:

Great, now Jason is evil. And once people become evil for the first time permanently, they earn a new power. I wonder what we're going to have to deal with next. We all saw Jason walk out of the smoke, and his eyes were pitch black. "Why are they black?!" I exclaimed. Jax replied. "Whenever someone turns evil, their eyes turn black. If they stay evil for more than a day, their eyes will be black forever. Hopefully Jason's eyes turn back to normal soon."

We all came up with a strategy to see what his power was before we start fighting. We all got ready, but I noticed that my friends eyes were all different colors, but not like normal eyes. They didn't have pupils! "Guys, what's wrong with your eyes?" I asked them. They looked at me confused, but then Henry spoke. "If you use your power for a long time, your eyes turn all one color. Basically the color of your power. That's why Jax's eyes are light blue. But that doesn't matter. We need to focus on the problem." I nodded. We all went in and made him see us. We all sighed when he used his power. That was the exact one we didn't want to deal with right now.

Of course it had to be the dust.

We then were more cautious and used our powers. When he stopped using his power, Terra threw a rock at his head. He got back up and shot his regular power at her, which distracted her and made her fly back. She lay on the ground for a little bit, then got back up and shot again. I shot fire at him too. And Jax shot ice. It froze his feet so he couldn't move. He froze his arms together too. Now, we just had to talk him out of the evilness.

We all surrounded him. Everyone told me to talk to him. So I started. "Hey Jason. We know your evil now and we're sorry for attacking you but, we want you to become good again. Just think of all the fun memories we had! We NEED you to join us again." I waited for his reply. After a while, he finally spoke. He laughed an evil laugh. "Well Kala, I like it on the evil side. I think it feels more comfortable to me. And I don't need good memories, I just remember the bad ones." An evil grin appeared on his face. I was confused. Then I new what he was doing. I looked at Jax. He rubbed his eyes and stretched. "Oh no you don't!" I yelled at Jason and melted the ice and burnt his face. He got mad and mixed the two powers. He shot them at me, but I dodged it. I kept going and eventually the others joined in.

After about an hour of fighting, I started getting tired. We were all in a circle around Jason, doing the same thing, taking turns using our powers on him. He was getting weaker every second. Then, I had an idea. I looked at them, but their eyes were wide. They still nodded like they new my idea, and we all got in a closer circle, and blasted our powers at Jason. It made a huge explosion which sent us all flying back. Jason was gone. I got up and brushed off the dust. The others did that too.

After a while, they sat me down with them to have a talk. I was really confused until they told me. It was Jax who told me.

"Kala, you have a second power."
