Jax's POV:

Ever since Jason turned evil, I don't really know him as much as I did anymore. We used to be best friends, but then he HAD to get lost in the stupid dark cloud and start working for the Beast. Everyone was still really confused about what just happened. I think I'm the most confused out of the group. "Guys, what exactly happened there? I mean, I kinda wasn't paying any attention." I asked them. "Well," Kala started, "Jason was 'melting' you the whole way, we ran into the Beast, I got mad when you were practically on the edge, and I somehow summoned a dragon from my anger that defeated the Beast." She took deep breaths after that. Terra laughed. "Well, now we know to just get you angry so you can summon the dragon." John pitched in. "Or, we could find a way to get Kala to summon the dragon without anger." We all nodded. "When everyone feels better and recovers, we can train." Henry suggested. We agreed and relaxed.

After a while, my wound started to hurt really bad. I attempted to put ice on it, but nothing happened. I looked at my hands closer. My eyes widened when I saw them. They weren't the pale white that they always were, they were pitch black, from my wrist up to my fingertips. "Uh, guys, you may want to check this out." Everyone turned at stared at my blackened hands in shock. "I can't even use my power." Emerald thought for a minute. Then she spoke. "All you're power must've drained out when Jason put the spell on you. I've seen this before. Just wait like an hour or so, and you're hands will be perfectly fine." I sighed. This was probably going to be a long day.

A little bit after I showed the group my hands, we went and got a room for the night in a motel. It wasn't the most fancy place, but at least it was better than nothing. Kala, Terra, and Emerald slept in the beds, I slept on the couch, since everyone wanted me to because of what happened earlier, and John and Henry slept on the floor.

We woke up in the morning and headed out. I checked my tracker and sighed once again. "Now where is he?" John asked. I rolled my eyes. "Texas." Everyone moaned. "Why does he always have to be so far away?!" Terra yelled. "I kinda don't want to fly all the way to Texas. Can't we just rent a car?" Emerald said. We all nodded. Then, my eyes widened as I saw a car fly forward off another cliff in front of me. "No! Don't rent a car!" I yelled. Everyone looked at me confused, especially Kala. I totally forgot she didn't know I had a second power, so I told her. "Kala, you're not the only one who has a second power. I can basically see the future, but I hate it because sometimes they can be good, and they can be terrible." I told her. Kala nodded. Emerald rolled her eyes. "Let's get moving, then."

John's POV:

I was super bored. It was almost night and we were in the middle of a city, so we obviously couldn't drop down. Everyone was super tired too, but I don't think we can go to bed. Suddenly, I felt a drop. "Woah, are you okay Emerald?" I asked. She was tired out of most of us, because she had been flying us around everywhere. "Yea, I'm just really tired....." She started to fall asleep again. "Here, I can try and carry all of you guys." Henry suggested. Kala shook her head. "We can't let you do that, we'll be too heavy." They kept arguing about it. "Guys, let's just find a way." I told everyone.

Soon, we were all getting pulled by Henry up high. Emerald was falling asleep, but I had to keep waking her up. Jeez, this was hard. We all wanted to find a place. Then, something flew past us at lighting speed. Henry struggled and started falling. "I can't fly!" He yelled. Soon, we were just feet from the ground. The only thing I did before we hit the ground was scream. "Emerald!" Everything went black.
