Jax's POV:

My face was burning, and I was furious. Terra should have never said that in front of everyone. I was also mad at myself. I had fallen for an evil girl.

Kala looked at me. The expression unreadable. Then, her face was filled with a mix of anger and sadness in a split second. I knew that right then and there I had messed up big time.

We stared at each other for a long time. It felt like we had stared at each other for a whole lifetime before she got up, and walked away. I had no idea where she was going. Then, she summoned her dragon and started getting on it. "Wait, Kala! You can't just leave us like that! What do you think you're doing?!" I yelled to her. All Kala did was stare at me once more. Then, she spoke. "I'm leaving you, just like you left me." She flew up into the sky and disappeared.

My head was in my hands. Why did I do that? Why do I like that evil ice girl? Will Kala ever come back? I thought to myself. What if we never saw Kala again? What if she turned evil? Would it be all my fault? John broke my troubled thought. "Dude, are you okay? That was pretty deep." I didn't reply. "Jax?" He asked again. Finally, I lifted my head. I tried to hold back the tears. "Do you think I'm okay?! Kala just left us! She just left me! Why would I be okay?! Tell me how!"

Kala's POV:

The cold wind blasted against my face as I rode my dragon through the night sky, but I couldn't feel the cold, my face still burned. I left because of what Jax did. He didn't just fall in love with that girl, but they met in the midst of the battle and kissed. They kissed. That's what I was most mad about. He hadn't even kissed me yet. I was thinking about how far we've been until I realized that I was taking my dragon into the woods. I landed and my dragon disappeared when I got off. I found a tree stump and sat down on it, thinking of what just happened.

I sat there for a long time before I heard a rustling noise in the distance. It kept getting louder and louder until I thought it couldn't get any louder. Then, a little black thing popped out of the bushes. I ran behind a tree and recognized the little black ghost of Jason. Why is he here?! I asked myself. He sat on the grass and pulled a piece of paper from his pocket. I leaned in to look at what it was, but he turned around and saw me. "Just come out, I know you're here to kill me." He sighed. I slowly approached him and corrected him. "No actually, it's just me. I came here to have a break." He looked up at me and told me to sit down. I shot him a suspicious glance, but sat down anyway.

"So, you and Jax got in a fight because he kissed an evil girl?" Jason asked. I nodded my head. Then, a hopeful look appeared on his face. His smile was as big as his whole body. "That's great! I have a plan!" I looked at him confused. Suddenly, a cage appeared around me. "What the heck! What is this?!" Jason smiled again. "It's a trap, duh." He rolled his eyes and I shook the cage. "Help! Someone get me out of here!" He tried to calm me down. "Hey, stop shaking the cage, just look into my eyes." Jason told me slowly. I looked into his eyes, but quickly looked away. "He has the ability to hypnotize people too?! How many powers does he have?!" I muttered under my breath. I felt his eyes staring into my soul. "Let's see, how will I get you to look at me?" Jason wondered out loud. I grumbled. "That's impossible, you can't." I replied. "Oh, are you sure?" He said. I suddenly felt the urge to look at him. I shook my head but nothing happened. "What's going on? I'm not looking at you."
"Exactly." He said.

I was super confused. I wasn't looking at him, but he made me feel like I had to. I tried to stop my head from turning, but it was no use. Our eyes met, and suddenly, I couldn't see. All I could see was blurry. Then, it wore off, and I tried to get up. I stumbled in my cage. "Hard to walk, isn't it?" Jason laughed. I sat down, and the world around me started to fade. I could see nothing but darkness. I could only hear his voice. "That's it, keep looking. You're doing great." Jason said slowly once again. An image appeared in the darkness, but it was actually me looking at Jason. I couldn't control anything. I could only think. He could also talk to me through my mind. "Isn't this great? It feels satisfying, right?" He asked me. "No! It feels..... " I tried to say, but couldn't. He made me say things I didn't want to say. "Good." I finished, but being hypnotized felt weird. Jason kept talking to me in that slow voice. After a while, I loved him talking to me like that. It sounded nice. I don't know why, but it it just did.

After a while of that, I thought the hypnotizing thing would go on forever until I heard someone's voice.

Jax's POV:

I sat on a fallen tree, thinking about where Kala could be. Then, I saw Kala sitting in a cage. But she wasn't the only person there. Jason was outside the cage, staring at her. The vision disappeared and at once my eyes grew wide and I shot up. "Kala's in danger. We have to help her! Quick!" I yelled. The others hesitated. "Dude, you just got in a huge fight with her, and we don't even know where she is." John said and Henry nodded in agreement. I shook my head. "Even though I just got in a fight with her, I'll still go find her. Come on!"

Emerald and Henry helped us look, and we finally found them after a long time of searching. I could hear Jason talking slowly, but I couldn't hear what he was saying to her. We jumped down and I instantly used my ice powers on him. "You fool!" Jason shouted. Kala was in the cage. She was staring right into his eyes for a bit longer before she snapped out of it. She blinked a couple of times and her eyes widened. "Jax! Come help me out! Hurry!" I ran over to the cage and tried to unlock it, but it wouldn't work. There was no lock on it. I looked through the bars and stared at her.

"Kala listen," I started, "I'm sorry for doing what I did. She leaned in to kiss me, and I didn't know what to do. I will never ever do that again. I will always love you." She stared at me too. A chill went up my spine as I felt someone staring at me.

"Jax, please don't turn around. Jason hypnotized me and he'll do it to you!" Kala yelled. I felt the urge to, but I didn't. "Jax, keep looking at me." Kala told me. I kept looking at her until I could no longer feel Jason's stare.

But then I gasped when I felt something else.
