Love Must Come to an End Right?// Josh Dun

Josh's POV:

Today I was taking Isaac to the aquarium downtown.

"Daddy" Isaac said hitting my shoulder at the table

"What's up buddy" I asked turning towards him more

"Are there going to be jellyfish" He asked excitedly

"Maybe" I smiled

"Or or Sharks" Isaac asked again

"We have to wait and see buddy I've never been before"

Isaac ran out of the dining room and into his room. I followed after him and he was tearing through his clothes. Half of his drawer was on the floor until he was satisfied with what he pulled out.

"I forgo to give this mommy" Isaac said flinging a card around

"What's it for?" I asked confused

"Mommies burtday daddy" He said angrily

"Oh no" I said face palming myself

"You forgo?" Ice asked

"Ya buddy"

"You in trouble" Isaac smiled

I shook my head and started getting him ready for the day.I put him in a blue shirt and navy shorts with white anchors. He was wearing his white baby converse.

I grabbed his backpack with snacks and extra clothes. We went down stairs to the car and went on our way to the aquarium. Isaac chose to listen to Badlands which caused me to laugh.

"You like Aunt Hals don't you" I asked

"Ya" He smiled

I have come to the conclusion that Ice has a crush on her. Not like a real crush just thinks she's pretty which she is.

We both sang along and Isaac paused when she said fuck which I thought was adorable. I called Amelia on the way but she didn't answer.

Isaac and I finally made it to the aquarium after a good hour of traffic. He was so excited to see the jelly fish.

"DADDY LOOK AT THE JELLIES" he squealed.

"Ya buddy" I smiled picking him so he could see better

"Can I have a pet jelly?" He asked

"No buddy jellies aren't good pets"

"Fine" he sighed

"We can get a stuffed Jelly at the gift shop though" I smiled

"Yay" he said clapping his hands together.

We explored the aquarium and ate at the restaurant connected. Isaac was so happy and loved the little sharks they had. He started tapping the glass of the shark tank but when they came near he would hide his head in my stomach.

"Hey do you want to pet the stingrays?" A woman who worked there asked Isaac

"Yes pwease" Isaac said happily

I trailed behind him as he ran to the tank.

"Ok gently put your hand on his back and pet him like a kitten" The woman said guiding his hand.

"He's slimy" Isaac giggled

"Sir would you like to pet them too" she asked me

"Uh sure" I said sticking my hand in the tank

"They slimy daddy" Isaac giggled

"Ya they are buddy" I smiled.

We washed our hands after petting the many stingrays and learning facts about them.

"Thank you Ms.Lacy" Isaac smiled waving goodbye

"Thank you" I smiled as we walked towards the gift shop

"Ice you can pick out one stuffy ok" I told him

"Ok daddy I want to get a Jelly"

We walked around the gift shop and couldn't find any jellyfish. After searching for a while, I asked a man behind the counter. Turns out they were right next to us making me look like an idiot. Isaac laughed at my embarrassment.

After protesting from Isaac we left the aquarium. He fell asleep in the backseat on the way home, making me feel bad for waking him to bring him inside.

I put him in his bed before walking into the living room. I played some Mario Kart against the computer causing me to lose.

I needed practice for when Ty and I tour again. I called him up when I lost for the 3rd time.

"Hey Ty" I said into the camera

"Can I call you back in a second? I have to put Jacki down." He said.

"Of course" I said

He ended the Skype call. He looked absolutely exhausted. Chasing toddlers around is tiring.

Tyler called me back and gave me a sigh.

"How's fatherhood Baby Boy" I smiled

"She doesn't stay still" he complained

"Ice didn't either" I laughed

"She's so cute but damn that little girl has legs"

"Maybe she'll be a dancer like her daddy" I laughed

"'Maybe. So how's the kid"

"Isaac is doing good we went to the aquarium today"

We talked about the kids for a while and then got into band talk. What were we going to do? We both have kids and are married, should we tour again?

"I want us to still be able to be a band when the kids are older but I don't want the clique to be waiting for years for a new song or album" Tyler sighed

"Maybe just hiatus? Pull a Fall Out Boy and when we are ready mysteriously pull out an album" I suggested

"I have written enough songs for a new album. So should we just do that and then have a mini US tour to promote it"

"I don't know. Isaac is already complaining about me being gone at work. I don't think I can do that to him" I sighed

I wanted to tour. I wanted to get everything from the past month out of my head. I hated the everyday routine of getting up and going to a normal job.  I love Isaac but I hate everything being the same day in and day out. I feel like a robot. Amelia is doing so good at her new job I didn't want her to have to give it up for me to tour.

"how's your brain"  he asked

"Good why?"

"You just said everything out loud. About routines and forgetting the past month"

"I miss him Ty" I said tearing up

"I know Spooky" He said "give it time"

"I miss my mom and everyone back home. Would it be terrible to ask Ahme if we could move back?"

"No way. She is super close with your mom. Ahme knows how close you are with your family and will understand because of what's going on. She loves it here. You guys could get extra help with Ice when she works and when you need a date night. I think that's a great idea" He said

We talked a while more before Isaac woke up. We said our goodbyes and I ended the call.
