Spooky Time 2023

Amelia's POV:

Tonight is the night it's Isaac's first time going trick or treating. We've had our Halloween parties the past 3 years but Isaac is old enough now to walk the streets and earn his candy. Why does that sound like my son is a prostitute who gets paid in candy?

Anyways, I am super excited. I like every other true emo is obsessed with Halloween. Our whole house has been decorated with Skeletons and ghosts since late September.

"Mommy can I be Spider-Man now?" Isaac asked me

"Ya honey I want to get some pictures" I smiled.

Tonight Josh and I were wearing matching costumes. We were being Vincent and the Corpse Bride.

I was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt along with a white skirt and tank top. I curled my recently dyed blue hair. Josh had dyed his hair black for this occasion.

"God you guys are so emo" Steve said bursting through our front door.

I was fixing Josh's tie since he can't tie to save his life.

"IS THIS SOME KIND OF JOKE" I laughed when Luke walked in

"I wish it was" Luke said shaking his head

"I love you babe" Steve smiled kissing Luke

The  two of them were dressed as Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. You can just take a guess on who is who.

"UNCLE LUKEY AND STEVIE" Isaac yelled bouncing out of his room

"Spider-Man what's up" Steve said crouching down to hug Isaac

"It's Isaac" Isaac said lifting up his mask

"Woah! Where did Spidey go?" Luke smiled

Luke and Isaac continued their conversation while the adults talked. After a while of talking Steve pulled me aside.

"Have you showed him yet?" Steve asked

"No I'm gonna wait until it heals a bit" I smiled

"I bet the blue body paint is going to make heal right up" Steve said sarcastically.

"I didn't put it on my neck you idiot" I said hitting his arm

"Woah don't hit the chosen one" Luke laughed

"I thought you were supposed to hate him" I laughed

"We all know that there was something gay going on between those two" Luke smiled kissing Steve

"We need to take a group picture" I said grabbing my camera

I set the camera on the already set up tri-pod. The auto timer was correctly set for two minutes before everyone got into place. I quickly ran over to Josh just in time for the camera to flash.

"Polaroid time!" I said making everyone sigh

We all got really close together and took two pictures.

Isaac grabbed his candy bucket and I grabbed his stroller. Knowing him we will go to 6 places and he will start complaining about his little feet.

We all got into Josh's car. Steve and Luke in the front seat and the three of us in the back. I told Steve the directions to the neighborhood.
