Amelia's POV:

Ronnie turned around to me and winced. This was going to be bad. Ronnie still had ill feelings towards Anthony, I don't blame him. Hopefully the other lawyer is just trying to cause a scene because Anthony doesn't have shit against Ronnie.

"You've known Mr.Carson for a while now correct?" The other lawyer, Greg asked

"Yes about 20 years" Anthony answered

"So you know a lot about him and his character"

"Yes sir, but I have not been around him in about 8 years"

"Why was that"

"He moved away"

"Have you ever been around Mr.Carson while he was under the influence"

"Yes sir"

"Would you please tell the jury what he was like"

"He was like anyone else when they were drunk. He laughed at literally everything and was always smiling. When he was high whether it be weed or what ever was in the bowl he was smiling. He was the happiest guy on Earth" Anthony smiled

"Did he ever get violent"

"Only if a guy was being rude or annoying a girl he usually just let everyone be"

"So overall he was very calm" Jacob interjected

"Yes sir" Anthony smiled

The rest of the trial continues this way. Greg getting frustrated when he didn't get the responses he wanted. Jacob just kept smiling he knew that this would end in our favor.

"Did you know the deceased" Greg smiled

"Yes sir, his father was friends with my birth father and he would hang around with us at parties"

"Was he ever violent"

"He was always picking fights with someone. Whether it be over drugs or a girl"

"Did the events described in court today fit his character" Jacob asked

"Definitely"

The judge called Jacob and Greg up to him and they discussed something before letting the jury go. We had to wait until the jury came to a decision before we could go home. We would have to wait a few more days before we can do anything with Isaac's story since it was unrelated.

"Ronnie I missed you so much" I Dias squeezing him

"I missed you too" he smiled rubbing my back

"You've got a beard now" I laughed

We talked for a second more before he had to go. I then sat with Luke and Steve and started catching up with them.

"So we got some big news, we wanted to wait to tell you but we are just too excited" Luke grinned

"Oh no" I said covering my face
