Amelia's POV:

I'm getting my tattoo today! I contacted Travis and he agreed to tattoo me. I hadn't told anyone besides Steve and Luke since they were going with me.

"Hey babe, Steve and I are going to go finish some stuff up" I said walking into Josh's childhood room.

We were staying at his parents house until the wedding. Except Sunday I will be at Jenna's.

"Ok. Love you" He said as he pulled on a shirt.

"Love you too" I smiled kissing him

I grabbed my purse and my jacket. The late winter, early spring weather was unforgiving. I jogged down the stairs saying goodbye to Josh's parents. Steve was impatiently waiting in his car, tapping on the steering wheel.

"Get in loser we're getting tatted" he laughed when I got into the back seat

"God you're so lame" I laughed

"So what are you getting Ahme" Luke asked

"You'll have to wait, Lukey" I grinned

"I'm getting a little skull on my ankle" Steve grinned

"I'm getting the Saturn doodle on my wrist" Luke smiled

"Lame boys with lame tattoos" I laughed

"Fuck you" Luke laughed throwing a napkin at me

"Where the fuck did you get a napkin"

"We being amazing friends have brought you donuts" Steve said as Luke gave me the donuts

"I love you guys" I smiled while taking a bite of the Boston Creme.

We pulled up to Travis' tattoo parlor after about 15 minutes. I was nervous and excited. I guess that's the only way to describe it.

I was pumped full of adrenaline thinking of the needle going through my skin leaving permanent art. That's the thing with tattoos. They represent things whether it be recovering from a bad time or an amazing memory. Sometimes you get a tattoo because it looks cool or for the story.

I always thought about getting a tattoo. I was around 8 when I started drawing on my skin. Being 8 years old I had drawn butterflies and stars. Now being 10 years older and wiser it meant more to me then just colors and art. It was to represent where I came from and the future journeys with Josh.

You always like to believe your tattoos have never been done before, but in reality someone some where has the same one. You may be the first to get it but you won't be the last. Tattoos are a way to express who you are on your sleeve, literally. It's amazing seeing all the different things that people have put onto themselves and the stories they have behind them.

I found while touring with Josh you come across many types of people. They all have a story. I remember sitting late at night with Tyler Carter and Michael just talking. I would ask them about there tattoos and they would ask me about future plans. It's therapeutic in a sense and I was excited to have my own story on my sleeve.

"You must be Amelia" A man said stepping out of the back room

He had salt and pepper hair to match his growing beard. He was roughly 6'3 towering over me.

"That I am" I smiled "this is Luke and Steve"

"Great to meet you guys, I got your stencil all set up Cain and Lia are all set up to" Travis said getting down to business.

I followed him into the back room where I laid down on the table. I was getting the tattoo on my right shoulder so I propped myself up on my left arm.

"Is this your first one" Travis asked

"Ya what would you compare the pain too" I asked

"It's not even close to giving birth but worse than burning your finger" He said

"Ok" I said taking a deep breathe

He cleaned up my arm and gave me a three count before starting. It was like a stinging pain. It was one of those pains that hurt but felt good.

"Fuck" I muttered when he started my shoulder.

"You've got like 15 more minutes girly don't worry" He smiled

To keep my mind off the pain Travis and I started to talk. I told him the reason behind the hot-air balloon that was now completely finished.

I always thought of hot air balloons to represent adventure and travels. Everyday of life is an adventure waiting to unfold. My life was just beginning. I was excited to be able to travel with Josh and have Isaac with us to experience it with us.

"Well girly you are all set. Keep it wrapped until morning and don't submerge it with water" Travis smiled

"Thanks so much" I smiled admiring the art

"Anytime. Good luck with your wedding" he said hugging me

"Thanks" I grinned

I went to the counter and paid. Luke and Steve were sitting on the couch laughing at something.

"Woah A that's so rad" Luke said jumping up to get a closer look

"Thanks" I smiled

"How are you gonna hide it from Joshy boy" Steve asked

"I'll sleep in long sleeves and I'm wearing a jacket" I smiled " and tomorrow I'm at Jenna's"

"Can we get food I'm starving" Luke smiled

"Let's go" Steve cheered running out the door.

Luke's tattoo was exactly how I pictured it would look but Steve went for a darker skull than I thought he would. I was thinking like a sugar skull but no, he went for a realistic skull.

We ate at Chipotle before they dropped me off at Josh's parent's. I said hello to Josh's parents before heading up the stairs to put on long sleeves.

"Hey baby" Josh said when I got up

"Have you been huddled up here all day with Isaac" I asked

"No Isaac is hanging out with Jordan and Skylar outside and I'm actually working" he smiled kissing my cheek

"Jordan and Skylar are so cute together" I said looking out the window

"Ya I guess. Why are you still wearing your jacket" Josh asked

"It's cold up here I'm gonna go change into a long sleeve" I said grabbing my black long sleeve shirt.

"Why don't you change right here" he questioned raising an eyebrow

"Because I need to pee jackass" I laughed before dashing into the bathroom

I took off my shirt and stared into the mirror. The tattoo was perfect. The colors were perfect together. The size was perfect. Everything about it was perfect and I'm so excited for Josh to see it. I was so ready for the wedding.

Thank you so much for reading! I'm going to update one more time before I start school on the 24th. Then I'm going to slow down on posts.

Amelia's tattoo is at the top. I hope you enjoyed

--you can skip this part if you want--

I'm going to be starting high school and honestly I'm terrified. I get really big anxiety of change and new things. I'm also afraid because when ever I started at a new school or at a new thing I would feel left out. If you know anything about Perks Of Being a Wallflower I'm just going to say things get bad when I start new things.

I just wanted to let you guys know so if I stop posting for a while you know the reason.
