Love Must Come to an End Right?// Josh Dun

Josh's POV:

We got the house! Thankfully we haven't had a problem with our landlord besides a few noise complaints because of Ronnie, so she didn't have a problem giving a recommendation.

We've been back home for 3 days and it feels good being back in Baltimore. We are supposed to be in the new house by the 5th of December and Amelia is so excited.

Skylar is still here but is going back to Ohio on the 18th since Ronnie has his first trial. Amelia is hoping for him to be out for Christmas but I don't know. Baltimore police SUCK!

"Isaac!" I called through the apartment

The four of us and Jessa were playing hide and seek. I of course being the oldest is "it" first.

"Is this a blue ponytail I see" I said twisting Amelia's ponytail between my fingers

"No" she giggled standing up

Together we searched for Skylar and Isaac.

"One blonde down, a boy to go" I said when we found Sky

The three of us creeped around the apartment. It wasn't that big of a place where could he have gone.

"Is this a little boy foot I see" I smiled tickling his foot

"Daddy stop" he giggled

He was hiding under his "big boy" bed, I have raised a baby genius. I may have tickled him a bit to much because he hit his head on the bottom.

"Owwwwww" he groaned holding his head

"One second buddy" I said sliding him out from under his bed.

"Where does it hurt" I asked

He pointed to the crown of his head where a bump was starting to show.

"Ahme!" I called out

"What's wrong" she said rushing in

"Ice hit his head under the bed and he's starting to get a bump" I said freaking out

Sure he's bumped his head on shelves and tables in his four years of life but this one was freaking me out. I may be the most over dramatic dad ever but this didn't feel right.

"Ice how bad does it hurt" Ahme asked

"More than a Jessa bite" he said between hiccups

When Isaac was three he kept putting his fingers near Jessa's mouth and she bit him. I've been bitten by her quite a few times and it really does hurt and I'm a 36 year old man ,so for Isaac to get but hurt A LOT.

"Hospital?" I asked Amelia

"Ya lets go" She said standing up

I picked Isaac up and put him on my waist his head laying on my shoulder.

"It's okay buddy" I said rubbing his back.

Amelia told Skylar that we were going and grabbed the keys. She was surprisingly calm. I guess from all the babysitting she's done she's has some experience. 

I tried buckling Isaac in without hurting his head but it didn't work that well. He started crying even harder.

"I'm sorry Ice" I said kissing his forehead.

I got into the seat behind Amelia and she drove. I felt horrible. It was my fault he hit his head. If I didn't tickle him he wouldn't be in pain.

"Momma bear momma bear what do you see" I sang

"A whole lot cars going this way" Amelia sang

"Papa bear papa bear what do you see" She sang back

"I see the back of a pretty ladies head" I sang

"Baby bear baby bear what do you see" We sang together

"Red" Isaac screeched

"Babe is there any way you can drive faster there's blood" I said trying to stay calm

"Ya I'm gonna switch lanes" Amelia said frustrated

We finally got to the hospital. I picked   Isaac up out of the car and ran into the hospital. I got a few looks from people walking by. Amelia was far behind since she went and parked the car while I got Isaac in.

"Hi what's seems to be the problem here" the nurse asked

"We were playing hide and seek and he hit his head on the bottom of his bed and now it's bleeding and there's a bump" I said super fast

"Ok is it just you here or.." The nurse said as Amelia came up to me

"My wife is here" I said

"Ok ma'am would you mind filling out these forms while we go and stitch up his head and get an X-ray" the nurse smiled

"Could I go in with him and fill them out" Amelia asked nervously

"Of course ok follow me" She said walking down the creepily white hallway

I never really liked hospitals they were always so quiet and clean.

"Hey Isaac do you want to sing the bear song" I asked him as the nurse numbed his head

We sang the same song as the nurse put stitches in his head. I tried distracting him with weird faces but it didn't really work.

"You did so good Ice Man" I said giving him a high five

He got his X-ray and everything seemed to be okay. The nurse told is just to ice his head and make sure he doesn't do anything with too much movement. She also told us to give him some medicine if he starts feeling pain again.

To make him feel better we stopped at Taco Bell to get some food.

"Nah-yo's mommy" Isaac said waking up as soon as we said Taco Bell

"He really is your son" Amelia laughed

"The boy loves Taco Bell just like his parents" I laughed

Amelia ordered the food and drove us home. Isaac fell asleep after eating his nachos and cheesy roll-up so, I carefully carried him into bed.

Skylar had left to see Ronnie and would be back later. I was nervous about him. He's a tough guy but Danny Craig had a lot of friends in jail. I never knew him but hearing Skylar talk about him when Amelia isn't around is pretty terrifying.

I really hope Ronnie knows what he's doing.
