Winny's P.O.V.

I hate mondays.

I hate this monday in particular, because of the stuff that happened over the weekend.

My boyfriend broke up with me, Lily was kidnapped and Patch is still mad at me for no reason at all.

Nan, was the only person I had right now in school.

"We obviously have to have rainbow colors around the area, I mean the theme is Peter Pan isn't it?" Nan says to everyone and she looks at me.

I was still upset with everything and monday morning meetings weren't making it any better.

"Yeah, I guess." I tell her and she sighs, pouting at me.

She places her hands on her hips and then crosses her hands over her chest.

"That is the third time you said that, Winny! Yeah, I guess." She says and mocks me.

I roll my eyes and bolt up from my seat. I didn't have time for this kind of nonsense.

I walked out the room, hearing Nora come after me.

I stopped in my tracks to see Patch, holding a bouquet of flowers, giving me a forced smile.

Was he forced to do this?

I walked around him, "By that smile on your face I could tell that you're forced. It's fine if you don't want to say you're sorry. I was a bitch yesterday." I tell him and walk away.

I hear him sigh and pull me to him, shaking his head.

"No, I was the asshole yesterday. I mean I didn't tell you why I was upset and... did you just swear?" Patch asks me with a smirk on his face and I let out my first laugh today.

I nod and stare at him again, "Yeah, I've been swearing a lot since we met. You're rubbing off on me, Peters." I tell him and he chuckles, quickly bringing the flowers to my chest.

"I brought these for you." He says and I giggle, holding the bouquet with both hands now.

I nod, "I noticed, they're beautiful Patch." I tell him and he nods.

An awkward silence falls between us, as I bring the flowers to my nose, breathing in the sweet aroma.

"This is the cliché part where the guy says, 'Not as beautiful as you'." Patch says and I smile up at him.

I shake my head and hug the flowers to my chest.

"But we aren't cliché." I tell him and he nods.

He scratches the back of his neck and sighs.

"Umm, Belle's throwing a party at Neverland to celebrate Lily's return home and she wants you to get an 'appealing outfit that you usually don't wear'. Her words, not mine." Patch says and releases a chuckle.

I shake my head at him and roll my eyes, that did sound like a thing Belle would say.

"Yeah, I'll go after school." I tell him and walk away.

I feel him sigh and he pulls my hand, pulling me to his chest again.

"Nonsense, you can pick an outfit right now." He tells me and I let out a laugh, shoving him away playfully.

And destroy my perfect attendance for this school year? No thanks.

"You mean skipping? No way, Patch. Besides, I've got to get back to my meeting." I tell Patch and he shakes his head.
