I heard what they said. They said I would lose control over my life. That's what they meant to do, to me AND Trinity. I had to show her the videos and warn her. I ran straight towards her room, screaming her name. She was quietly crying while making ugly sobbing noises in the corner.

"Trin are you ok---"

I then felt a sharp pain go through me, as if I was just stabbed with a knife. The room began to fade in black, and Trinity's sob became a shriek.

I woke up to the sound of sirens. Police sirens. I got up and snook a little peek out the window. Oh god, the police were out talking to one another. I had to get out of here. I quickly glanced at a body laying lifeless beside me; Trinity. I picked her up and bolted straight for the back door, straight to the backyard.

Carelessly, I threw Trinity's body over the fence and then hopped over it myself. It was around 8 or 9 at night, so the sky was somewhat a little bright, like how you see it at 4 or 5AM. I ran with her body straight for an old broken house that was abandoned near my area. Actually, I don't even know. It's really old looking, and no one has ever really gone there, but I never imagined MYSELF running straight there.

"Dude...what the hell is going on?" Trinity said in a dizzy voice.

" Away from home...for a while."

"I can get up, thanks."

She got off of me as I glanced a look at the building close up. It was such a brown old house. The wood was rotting, and the house was a dark purple to brown and black colour .

" do you think the cops are gone? And where the hell is Aiden or Alexis?"

"It's ok to come out you two!" Someone said. I had no idea why but I jumped from my spot with a little gasp. Trinity must've had an inner mini heart attack as her eyes went wide. The police had found us. We ran inside the house and found a little hiding spot.

"Are we going to jail?"

Footsteps were coming our way. We went to another spot quick before they noticed. Luckily they hadn't.

"No, we must inform you something."

I glanced a look at Trinity. She then whispered.

"Should we?"

"They're the freaking police Trin we have to!"

We slowly got up. And called towards our area. 3 tall men in police suits came running towards us.

"Are you ok?" 1 exclaimed.

"Sit down. We need to inform you."

We took a seat and listened.

"Apparently, we were told by some fellow classmates that you had been abused at home, and judging by the marks, we feel it was your older
brother who did it."

"Do you live with any parents?"

"Well, no, but we live here and our parents pay for us in their own home close by."

"Where do they live?"

"Around the nearest No Frills and shopping area."

"Ok. Were going to escort you to your proper home. But I have a question, why don't you live with them?"

"We wanted to go to the safest high school here, so we needed to move. But my dad didn't want to, so he decided we stay there and learn to live by ourselves while he payed the rents."

"Ok. So you don't need to be escorted home, how old are you?"

"14."

"And her?" He pointed to Trinity.

"I'm 13."

"How old was Aiden?" He said.

"18."

"And do you have a younger sister as well, right?"

We both nodded. More like a younger devil.

"Alexis, age 11." Trinity shot out.

"Alright. Your free to go home--"

He then stopped talking. I glanced at Trin. She didn't know what to do. I looked back at him.

"Hey, you were saying?" I say.

"Why is your eye all orange? Is that the colour of your blood C'MON MEN TAKE THEM TO THE HOSPITAL!"

"Wait what?!" I call out as I back away as they tried grabbing me. They then started running for me. That's when I ran too, with a struggling to catch up Trinity behind me.

"Where the hell do we go now?" She pants.

"Far away from here- again!" I say as the cops start catching up behind us.

I started hearing them pull out stuff and receivers blaring as they say something in return. That's when I ran faster and straight into the forest. And scrambled almost everywhere and ducked straight into a bush.

They'll never catch us here!

By the time I was SURE we lost them, as in I waited like a good maybe hour or so, I slowly crawled up. Trin had fallen asleep for like, 15 minutes but then woke up. To keep herself entertained, she was playing games on her silenced iPod. We waited for longer. Then it got REALLY dark. Like 12AM dark. I can't fall asleep. I guess we're going to have to wander around at night.

I took out my own iPod nano 4 in purple and earbuds. I didn't care what year it was, I still loved listening to old music. Club can't handle us, haven't heard that in a while. I started playing it.

I checked the time once again. 10:05PM. Maybe we should come out now. It's been a while. I motioned for us to put away our stuff in our pockets and head out. The bugs around this forest were KILLING me. We crawled out and headed towards the lighted bus stop. The sky was black, and the streetlights were like a light orange. Halloween much?

We looked around.

"Should we go home or no? And I didn't see no "orange" eye on you. What the hell was he talking about?"

"I dunno. But whatevs. My iPod needs to somewhat charge."

"Ew you brought THAT old one? What about your touch 4---"

"Oh now what? Are my eyes purple now?" I faced her.

"No, I guess it's just..." Her eyes just couldn't focus on me. Her eyes were leaning to the side on something else.

Or should I say, someONE else.
