I didn't even remember or think about it. I completely forgot about it. This morning I was studying for my geography test (without ANY interruptions from my dumbfuck excuse of a head) and I heard the doorbell rang. My mom went to answer it and I didn't really hear much of a conversation, but rather some giggling.

Probably her old friend or some neighbour she knew. I thought.

I turned back towards my room and sit back at my desk. I continue writing until--

"SURPRISE MUTHAFUCKA!"

I literally scream as my door flew open and I saw Trinity. MY SISTER WAS ALIVE!

"OHHHHHH MYYYY GOOOOOOD." I say running up to her and giving her the biggest hug possible.

"IM ALIVE! AND I FEEL AMAZING!" She says doing a little nae nae.

"That's great! What happened at the house when I was gone?!"

"While you went outside thinking he was dead or something, I was trying to clean up some of the blood. I went to the laundry room to go find some cleaning supplies until bam! I turn around and I feel some knife attack me like, 3 hard times and I kinda blacked out. I also heard how you went to court and shit are you okay?" She says giving me a gentle little hug.

"Yeah, IM fine...but I've been worrying about something."

"What's that?"

"Well...I've kinda been recommended to get checked...for insanity."

"WHAT? Your not insane!"

"I know. They think I am."

"When are you going to get checked?" Trinity asks, taking her socks off and motioning for me to come upstairs with her. I followed along, noticing something different about her.

"Hey Trin... something wrong?" I say, getting closer to her and forcing to turn her around. Yep! I noticed her normal brown eyes turn into a darker shade than usual. Almost black, in fact, most of her eye WAS turning black, but it wasn't fully.

"No, why?" She casually asks me, turning her head in some weird creepy position.

"Your eyes...they weren't like that before."

"Oh...." She gives me a worried look before rushing up to the closest mirror. The bathroom mirror. After looking at her eyes, she gasped.

"What. The. Fuck."

"Dude; I think you may wanna visit a doctor."

"No....this....this is permanent." She stutters, almost tripping.

"What the hell?! No. It can't be."

"Face that facts Trina. I mean, look at us! They think we're insane since we have voices in our heads, were turning darker than usual, and I bet you didn't realize that you have fangs!"

After her last sentence my heart stopped beating for a quick second. I slowly glanced towards the mirror and smiled.

OH FUCK.

The top two side teeth were larger than normal. I wanted to yell for help but everyone would think we're insane again.

"What's going on with us?! Are we hallucinating or is this all real?!" I began panicking. I knocked down the toothpaste and tooth brushes. I screamed, causing my sister to back away and break the mirror. We both gasped.

We're back. And halfway done.

I looked down at all the shards of glass on the floor. My mom called from downstairs, asking us if we were okay in a worried tone. We didn't respond, since our reflection wasn't showing on the shards.

It was someone else.

Picking up the pieces, we carefully created the mirror on the floor again. And again, we didn't see ourselves. We saw someone else. Not only did my heart stop AGAIN for the second time; my jaw dropped at what I saw.

It was basically a version of us that was JUST like that red girl I encountered a while ago.

Only this time I was green, had pitch red eyes, was soaking wet, and my jaw was broken in a horribly deformed way. It was probably because my real jaw dropped seeing that.

Trinity's was worse. She had some black shadow figure that didn't even look like a human, and it didn't even have eyes, unless her eyes were pitch black. She was dripping in a red substance, which I assumed to be blood. But she was laughing. Mine closed her broken jaw mouth and began laughing as well. Around there foreheads I saw black marks in symbols and spirals and swirls, and--

Before I could even finish describing them they disappeared. Me and Trinity both turned facing ourselves as we both stood there in shock.

"GIRLS WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!" Our mom came from behind us. Oh shit. I don't think we heard her coming up the stairs and into the bathroom.

"Oh uh, I accidentally dropped the toothpaste and toothbrushes, scaring her and she bumped into the mirror and it fell and cracked." I explain meekly.

"Are you two okay?!"

"Yeah we're fine! Don't worry...."

Mom frowned and sighed. She put her hand on her temples and closed her eyes. After 2 minutes of us standing there in guilt. She finished calming down and spoke up again.

"Sorry girls, but I have no choice but to take you to the insanity testing room. Tomorrow."

"WHAT?!" We both screamed in unison.

"You heard me. I expect this cleaned up by the time I get back." she muttered and went back downstairs. We stood there like idiots again, in silence.

Finally. Once were alone in that room, we can take full control.

I glanced at Trinity and asked her if she heard that as well. She nodded and began picking up the glass shards. I sighed and joined her. After 5 minutes of complete silence, I broke it.

"Hey...do you think we really ARE insane? We hear voices in our heads, we hallucinate, and mom didn't even notice anything. No one notices anything. Do you think this will make things better, or worse?"

She glanced at me one last time before throwing the broke shards away.

"Maybe better...maybe worse. I don't even know. This is all just so confusing."

It will be better. Better for us, horrible for you!

We both skeptically looked at each other in unison once we heard that. All we knew, is that it was only us two by ourselves in this.
