While me and Trinity sat in the car, we were all silent as hell. No one dared to say another word to each other. Mom was driving us off to the one and only, Sanitorium LP. Hospital. It was really just a 10 minute drive, which felt like HOURS.

"Do you think I'm insane? Trinity whispers to me. I shook my head.

"Hell no. It's just that no ones going to believe us. We've been in way too much trouble. I KILLED someone. Well...almost. You know what I mean."

"Yeah. If we are insane..does that make us sick? Or horrible people?"

"......no! Of course not! They all just think we need a little...help."

I glanced at my mom. She looked like she was going to burst out crying any second. I gathered enough courage to speak to her.

"Mom...do you really believe we're insane?" I say to her in a sad tone. Maybe the dramatic effect will add some ease to the tension? My mom sighed and wiped her eyes.

"Of course not hon. It's just that...you guys have been acting strange! What's going on with you too!" She shouts in defeat. By now, we made it to the hospital parking.

"If we tell you, do you think we'll be insane? Because if we BOTH experience it, than it can't just be insanity. It has to be something else."

We didn't exit the car even though we had an appointment time.

"Okay...go on."

"Me and Trinity have been hearing the exact same weird voices going on in our heads, and we've been seeing these weird demons through our mirror and seeing them fully in sight and--"

"Ok that's it." My mom says stepping out of the car. You two NEED to be tested.

"But mom!--"

"NO FUCKING BUTS. Get out of the car."

We obeyed and walked into the building with her. Part of me died inside, thinking it was all going to end. If I'm insane, I'll get locked away and won't be able to see my family ever again.

You life won't end. You'll lose the rest of your sanity, and stay in that beautiful small room with me...and becoming fully insane!

I wanted to slap myself or do something embarrassing, but that would make me more insane. I had to keep it low...

Wait a minute....

What if we tried to deny everything the voices had to say and act normal about everything so they don't think we're actually insane........

That could work!

As we hopped into the elevator, I whispered the plan to Trinity. Than I turned to face mom.

"Hey mom? Can we have our interviews and session together? It would make us feel more connected with the situation."

"....alright." She says. We got off our stop and walked through the little hallway. My mom opened the door to Room 213 and all we saw was a waiting room. We both sat down at the chairs and discussed our plans the entire time. Mom had to keep her cool by rubbing her temples and breathing heavily from time to time.

"Trinity and Trina?" Some lady said. We both looked at each other before walking in the small room together.

"Good morning ladies."

"Good morning." We both say in unison.

"I have a few questions for you."

"Ok." I say. Trinity said nothing but smiled anyway.

"What do you see?" He showed up a paper that had weird drawings all over it. For some reason I saw a duck, so I said that. Trinity said she saw some next level rabbit.

"Ok. Next question. For you Trina. What drove you into attacking Atif?"

"During my childhood, he used to torment me and scar me. When I saw him again, I thought he changed but he attacked me again and kidnapped me. I had no choice but to fight back."

He wrote some stuff down on a small piece of paper before looking at me again.

"Next question. Do you talk to yourself? Are you lonely? Do you have any friends?"

"Well, I talk to her." I pointed to Trinity. And yes I have friends at school. We hang out all the time."

"Same for me. I have my squad and we usually go out and hang. And when I'm home, I talk to Trina most of the time."

"Mmhm. Do you two like burning things?"

"When it comes to me, I like burning off those sparkly light things you see on July 1st or so. And candles for a birthday cake, but that's about it." Trinity nodded to agree with me.

"Are you insane?" He asked us.

"Um, I hope not!" I say. I knew that insane people never though they would be insane and deny it, saying sane people are insane instead.

"What have you seen in the mirror?"

"My own reflection and the objects around me. Nothing else. If I did see something, I would probably be hallucinating." Trinity lied. I agreed with her.

"Who are those shadows you have seen before?"

Trinity looked stuck on this one. Luckily I took care of it.

"Oh it was mainly based off this creepypasta, and I guess we've been scared of it, since we recently just read it."

"Do you believe they are real?"

As much as we wanted to say yes, we said no.

"Ok. Call your mother in.
