I shrieked as a dark beam coming out towards me, i only managed to dodge it at a slip of time. Even if I did dodge, i was hit severely by my left side. That beam burned half of my clothes leaving bruises on my left body.
And girls shriek a lot, so don't mind me shrieking.
"My clothes! You ruined it!" I cried.
Covering my naked half with my hands, i know my hands can't possibly cover all of it. But it's better than nothing.
"Worry about your life! Not the clothes!" Rhei scolded me, "Girls."
He sighed and shook his head
"... Hey, is that really Rogue?" Sting asked, staring at Rogue. Sting's face remained blank, neither confused or angry. But one can tell, that Sting know that Rogue is not the Rogue he knew.
Rogue, no, that guy...
Standing with his genuinely smile, grinning happily as he looked towards us. As if a little kid has just been given his favorite toy, his red crimson eyes brightened up. He raised his right arm that has been covered up by dark colored dragon scales and face it towards Sting,
I just realized what he was about to do, i quickly ran to him trying to yell his name while he stood there in awe watching his precious partner,
"STING!" I screamed out loud for him to hear.
But I didn't make it in time, instead the dark beam got it to him. Letting smokes all over, damaging the ground. Rhei was in far reach, so I'm glad he's okay. I mean he's just got in his body, and the next thing he knew is death? Sad, bro.
"S-Sting...?" I called out, my voice sounded bitter and small.
"Rogue's roar can do so much better..." Sting said in the middle of the smoke standing, he tilted his head. Anger filling his head, "If you're gonna use his body, might as well use his magic more better."
As he tightened his fist, he stormed forward. Rogue smiled,
"Yes... I know you're a perfect toy!" He said,
The two of them clashed together, both with their magic. The both of them knew each others ability and weakness well. Actually Sting does, The one who posessed Rogue? I wouldn't know if he had the same memory as Rogue.
But I knew I met him before, that eyes were the same as the one at the grocery store. The same expression Future Rogue was wearing, maybe this guy is that one who caused Rogue's mind to be so corrupted. Maybe the future won't change after all?
That can't be..
The future me went all that trouble to change it, and she even felt the tragedy of death. I stood there, blankly. Filled with thoughts of the outcome and future, not minding the chaos that is happening right in front of me. Sting and Rogue fought and I thought,
How can Sting not feel anything?
To have to injure his own partner for life, i know that he know Rogue so well that in first look he can tell that inside of him was some else. But, to do a damage for his own Nakama is one of the hardest thing to do.
"Lady." Rhei called out, surprising me. I glanced at him, "Now is not the time to think. This is not the appropriate location for us to be in, there's a battle happening here. We should not interfere with it, Let's get somewhere safer."
"Are you saying we should leave Sting here? And the posessed Rogue?" I asked, i never meant to make my voice like that. I didn't realize my throat was so dry, my voice croaked as if I've been crying and fearing something. Maybe I am fearing something.
"I clearly did not say that," Rhei shook his head, "What I'm saying is that we should get to somewhere where we can watch the battle without anything possible happening to us."
"..Right.. "
"The storm is also not helping, it might lessened a bit. But it is still dangerous, come, we wouldn't want some fever and cold." Rhei dragged me away from the scene happening, I'm hearing him yet nothing seemed more logical than that. All my instinct just said that I should just do what he said, my body is not even reacting to my brain anymore.
Letting myself getting dragged by him, i looked back. Sting trying to land a hit at the monstrous bastard, clenching his teeth. A look of concern, sadness and anger.
I wish he didn't have to make a face like that, i wish that Rogue wouldn't put himself in a situation where one could possess him.
Was his mind too weak? He has the strongest mind, his mental is much better than Sting. He lived all years, not getting posessed by him. Yet, today it ruined it.
"GET OUT OF HIS BODY NOW!" Sting screamed right next to Rogue's ears. Instead of doing something, he laughed.
"Such expression you have right now." He said, "How does it feel to be fighting one of your comrades?"
"GET OUT!"
Another punch of lights was given for him. And he easily blocked his punch with his bare hands,
"It's a new thing for you isn't it?" Rogue grinned, "It's also a new thing for me, not the comrade. But the feel of controlling this body, i have longed for domination. And finally, i can use the ability to freely Control everything."
"Not in my watch!" Sting stepped back for a bit, "Light Dragon's Roar!"
"Shield!"

Now we're up in some hill or something? I can barely see anything, the moon is not helping, it's too dark to see. Up here, i can see the fight. I can't see but I can feel an intense battle happening, and their screams can't be unheard.
"We should be safe enough here." Rhei said.
"Hey, Rhei," I called out to him softly.
"Yes?"
"You're a mage aren't you?" I asked, well at least that's what Mirajane said when she was talking about her 'legendary' stuff. "What magi-"
"I'm just a normal traveler who gives blessing." He cut me off.
"Then.. How did you die?"
He seemed surprised at the question I asked, "How? Now, let me remember..... Right! I was murdered!"
"Please don't say such thing with a smile like that." I said.
"I remember now!" He clapped his hands, "Hey, Do you still want to waste time here?"
"What do you mean wasting time?! There's my comrades fighting each other there!"
"Yeah, But there is nothing we could do here. Watching them mindlessly is not helping."
".." I bit my lip, " Where are you going?"
"Somewhere... You might meet your friends there."
"How would you know?"
He pointed right at the sky, i followed his index finger. Until there's a pillar of light shining somewhere, with a hint of noisy sounds. And that's not just happening in one place, there's other pillar of light. There was a battle happening there.
"So?"
He reached out his hands.
I thought maybe the others can help Sting and Rogue...
So I gave Rhei an acceptance.
