alison's pov

i exited out of hanna's car with rm and han by my side. mona and aria went with spencer.

they came out once we parked out on the grille.

"soo, today must've been hard, huh?" spencer asks.

"yeah, i guess. i just don't know what my parents will think," i mumble.

i feel emily's warm, soft hand on my shoulder. i smile, and i can feel her sympathy.

"i'm pretty sure, they're gonna be fine with it." aria says. "they love you."

"yeah, it's just like, i guess, they never really shared their opinion on that." i say.

Tten, the waitress comes. "hello, what can I get you for your drinks?"

"uh, i want that horchata stuff," hanna says.

"can I get a lemonade?" aria asks, as the waitress nods.

"i want a coffee," Spencer says.

"get me a Shirley Temple," Mona says. "ooh, me too," emily squeals.

"and, i want a hot chocolate," i say.

"ok, and for your meals?"

after, we ordered the waitress brought us our food and drinks.

"so, when are you gonna tell your parents?" hanna asks, drinking from her cup.

i freeze up. i haven't exactly thought about that.

"when i'm ready," i say.

"well, i think they're going to find out, considering that the whole school knows about it. don't you think it'll be better if they hear it from you?" spencer asks.

"yeah, might as well tell them," mona adds. "we'll go with you. if you want."

actually, come to think about it. i don't really want anyone to be with me, when i tell my parents. not even emily. i just want to be alone, with my mom and dad.

"no, it's okay. i think, i can handle it myself."

they all nod.

"ali, you probably don't have to worry about school anymore. people kinda just already got used to it. your yesterday's news," mona says.

"for once, i'm actually glad to hear that," i chuckle.

after, we all finished our food, we were left with full bellies.

"god, i am so full!" hanna whines, with her hands over her stomach.

hanna parks into my driveway. i grip on to my purse, ready to leave.

once, she stops i open the door.

"thanks, Han," i say leaving.

emily follows me to the porch. i smile and grab two of her hands.

"are you gonna tell your parents?"

i nod. "i'm gonna tell them right now,"

"hopefully, it goes well."

"hopefully."

"alright, well, i should get going."

"yeah."

she quickly leans in and kisses me softly on the lips. before, i can kiss back she already pulls away.

"call me once your done," she tells me.

"okay," i say, needing the taste of her lips again.

"okay," she answers back. she starts to leave.

i immediately pull her and kiss passionately. she is obviously surprised, but, after a few seconds into the kiss, she kisses me back. our lips move in perfect sync- until we hear the horn honking.

i totally forgot hanna was here. we pull away, embarrassed.

i push back a strand of my hair, behind my ear, as she bites her lip and rolls her eyes.

"sorry," she mutters. "just text me tonight, okay?"

i nod. she kisses me on the cheek and leaves.

she gets into the car and I see her getting mad at hanna.

"hanna!"

"you guys were taking so long.." hanna says and drives off, continuing to argue with Emily

i laugh and enter the house. in the living room, they're my parents sat.

"mom, dad. i have to talk to you guys."
