Glimmer POV
I know I have powers. I know I can make crystals. My foster mom tells me I've been dreaming, it's not real. I can't create them all the time, like whenever I'm around my foster family the crystals don't appear. My foster mom is the only one I've told, but of course she doesn't believe me. None of my friends at school know, I would scare them or call me a freak. But I know they are real, that I'm actually making real crystals. Maybe one day I will know the truth, maybe.
Flamara POV
War is on. The strikers started it. Somehow, they broke free from the dark dimension. Now all the elements are at war blaming each other for letting them out. It's the flamers and the crystallizers against the Aquarians, Freezers, and the natures. We almost have the strikers on our side, but the Queen said she needs "further convincing".
I'm flamara, the princess of the flamers. My father has been meeting with the king of the crystallizers to discuss war plans almost every day. Before the war started, the Crystallizers would visit often, as we are strong trade partners. I saw the Prince of the crystallizers, Kato, every time they came. As our parents caught up over lunch or dinner or whatever, Kato and I would leave the palace and explore the outside city of the Flamers. For a while I even caught feelings for Kato, but I have to forget those feelings. Now that there is this war, I don't see Kato as much. He's the commander of one of the armadas. So I see him, I just can't talk to him.
I'm in my room playing with my pet Phoenix when a guard anxiously knock on my door. He looks anxious. I look up from my Phoenix and nod, signifying he can speak. " The King wants you to come in good robes. The Striker Queen is here, now."
I quickly change and run down to the throne room, my Phoenix following me. "you can't be here" I tell it, wave my hand and returns to the tattoo on my arm. I pull back down my sleeve and enter the Throne room. As I enter, I see Kato and smile. I go to stand next to him, but my father calls my name and I go to my throne. Great, remember your etiquette Flamara. The doors open and a young woman with jet black hair with purple tips walks in. I look at her dress and see that the back of her cape has the six elements are stitched on the back. Queen Stella is a lot younger looking than I thought she was, I knew she was young, bit she looks maybe a couple years older than me.
"Well, Hello king Fataro, King Jacine, and Queens as-well. I am Queen Stella. " She said, her voice is like ice, just like her stare.
"hello Queen Stella, what brings you here today?" My father asks.
"I have decided to give you a chance, I will join your forces and change the tide of the war. I all ask is one thing in return" Stella starts. she walks over to me. "Is this your daughter, Flamara?" she asks
"Yes, I am Flamara, Princess of the Flamers, Daughter of Fataro." I answer. she smiles at me, coolly.
"Ah, Good. King Fataro, King Jacine, and Prince Kato, may i speak to you three in private?" the Queen asks. My father, the crystallizer king, and Stella leave into another room. The queens go into my mother private room. It is now just me and the guards from all three elements. Our guards have on bright red suits with black boots and orange hats. We put magic on them so that it looks like its live fire in the fabric. The crystallizers have multicolored suits that refract and change color in light. The striker's uniforms are black with dark purple boots and purple hats. There is a giant lightning bolt on the back of the suits. None of them have gloves on but they have swords at their sides for an emergency.
I wonder what is being discussed in the different rooms. I stay in my throne, alone with no one to talk to and nowhere to go. I would call out my Phoenix, but no one knows I have him except my private guard, and he is across the room.
