Trial of the Traitors

Hannah POV

It is the day of the Trial. My mother forces Jack and I to dress nicely, even though we don't see why we need to.

"This is a formal event, you need to dress and act accordingly. I've let you two run around for too long." My mother sighs. She is right, we need to start acting normal again, the war is over now. "And Jack, Glimmer will be there, and I'm sure Celestine will dress her nicely." My Mom said with a smile.

"How does she know?" Jack asks and looks at me.

"It's kind of obvious. She did kiss you." I say with a smile. "And I told mom." I say and take my dress and run back to my room, Jack yelling at me as I leave.

I walk out of my room in my beautiful white dress, it is fitted at the top and flows from the hips down. I then place my snowflake tiara on my head, my hair in curls. We go to the Court house at the Flamers Capital. They volunteered to hold it as their palace is easy to get to and their child wasn't on Stella's side, making it more appealing to the other elements. I walk in beside Jack and are greeted by Flamara.

"Welcome to my Palace." She says with a smile. She is wearing a tight black dress with red sequins that match her hair. She is wearing her crown of flames. "I love your dress Hannah!"

"I love yours too!" I say. Flamara shows us to our seats.

"Is Glimmer here?" Jack asks. He's only been allowed to see her once, and she was in the hospital bed.

"No, Queen Celestine said they are on their way. They should be here soon." Flamara says. Riff walks in with his family. He walks towards us.

"It took us a while to get here, but it feels great." He says with a smile.

"This is our greatest victory, a proper trial for the traitors." Flamara says. Everyone in the room slowly stops talking and turns to the entrance. Queen Celestine, Khaleesi, and Glimmer are walking in. They all look stunning. Khaleesi is in a bright teal gown with purple accents and a teal crown. Glimmer is in a sparkly, light purple dress that is fitted at the top and flows from the waist down and a dark purple crown.

"Wow." Jack says. Glimmer and Khaleesi smile and walk over to us.

"Welcome, Princesses!" Flamara says. "How have you two been?"

"I've been great, it's been weird adjusting to this new lifestyle of a princess, but it is exciting stuff!" Khaleesi says.

"I wouldn't say exciting." I say with a laugh. "How are you Glimmer?"

"I can walk on my own now, but I agree with Khaleesi. It's been weird adjusting to this princess life." Glimmer says. I look over at Jack, He can't take his eyes off Glimmer.

"It is time for everyone to take their seats, we will start in 5 minutes." The king of the Flamer's announces. We go to our designated spots, my mother is already sitting in our seats.

"How is Glimmer? She looks beautiful, doesn't she Jack?" My Mom teases.

"Yes, she does." He says with a smile. "The teasing is never going to end, is it?"

"Ha ha, nope!" I say. My mom laughs. When everyone is in their seats, the Judge rises. Everyone follows him. He is Judge Candor, he is a Flamer. He is the oldest Judge in all the elements, and one of the wisest men as well.

"Bring in the accused." He says. Guards of all elements bring in Stella, Jane, and Kato. I can feel the room tense as Kato walks in. "You may be seated." And everyone sits down. "Queen Stella, please rise, raise your right hand and state your full name and that you will speak the truth and nothing but the truth."

"Stella Rolamundo, I promise to say the truth and nothing but the truth." Stella replies.

"You have been accused guilty to the following crimes. Kidnapping the Kings and Queens of the elements, injuring the children of the Kings and Queens, plotting against the good will of the elements, starting a war within the elements, taking control of the strikers when it was not you right, and other minor crimes. Do you attest to these crimes?"

"Yes." She says calmly. "I plead guilty to the listed crimes."

"Very well. Please sit down. Princess Jane please rise, raise your right hand and state your full name and that you will speak the truth and nothing but the truth."

"Jane Dahlia, I promise to say the truth and nothing but the truth." Jane answers.

"You have been accused guilty to the following crimes. Assisting the kidnaping of the Kings and Queens, attacking the princess and princes of the elements, plotting against the goodwill of the elements, and other minor crimes. Do you attest to these crimes?"

"Yes, I am guilty of these crimes." Jane says and looks down, obviously guilty of what she had done.

"Very well. Prince Kato, please rise, raise your right hand and state your full name and that you will speak the truth and nothing but the truth." The Judge says. Kato stands up, a smug look on his face. The room murmurs in hatred. "Silence! Let the boy speak."

"I am Kato Vario, I promise to say the truth and nothing but the truth." Kato answers. The Judge takes a deep breath before reading Kato's list of crimes.

"You have been accused guilty to the following crimes. Assisting the kidnaping of the Kings and Queens, attacking the princess and princes of the elements, plotting against the goodwill of the elements, attempting to murder your sister Princess Kira, attempting to murder Princess Hannah, fatally wounding Princess Glimmer, Murdering your Father King Jacine, and other minor crimes. Do you attest to these crimes?"

"You have no evidence that I attempted to murder Kira, or Glimmer." Kato argues in defiance.

"Queen Celestine, what were the results from the DNA tests of Princess Khaleesi and Glimmer?" Judge Candor asks. The Queen stands up and says;

"They both came back positive, your Honor."

"Very well. Any whiteness of the incident, or him admitting to the attempted murder?" Judge candor asks the room. Flamara, Jack, Glimmer, Khaleesi, Jane, Stella, and I raise our hands. "Oh? What did you whiteness, Princess Flamara?"

Flamara stands up and says, "I heard him confess to attempting to murder her, your Honor." Everyone nods their heads in agreement. Even Stella and Jane. I guess they want him to go to prison as much as we do.

"With the evidence provided, I determine Kato guilty of all accused charges. Kato, you will be sentenced 20 years in prison. Jane, you will face 8 years, and Stella 15. Court dismissed." He says and leaves the room. The guards take the three out of the room first. Kato tries to put up a fight, but a striker guard shocks him, and he stops resisting.
