The Other Prisoners

Glimmer POV

I am in a dark room; I think Stella transported us here.

"Glimmer, you're alive!" I hear Khaleesi say. I turn around see Khaleesi. I run and give her a hug.

"I thought I had lost you" I said to her. "But it looks like you were ok. I was taken to the Aquarian palace with Riff." I explained to her everything that happened.

"I've been here the whole time. But it's only been like a day, right?" She asks.

"Yeah, one day." I say. We sit in silence.

"Did you have another headache when you saw Kato?" Khaleesi asks, breaking the silence.

"Uh, yeah. I also felt like my body was on fire, it was weird." I say. Thinking back on that made me shudder.

"I think Kato causes them. You only have the headaches when he is around. Maybe he is causing them. After you fainted, Riff yelled something at Kato, and when he wasn't focused on you, your headache stopped."

"How could he cause headaches?" I ask.

"I don't know." Khaleesi says. We sit in silence.

"Did you notice how the Queen studied you?" Khaleesi finally asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask her.

"The Queen was studying your face, like she recognized you." Khaleesi says.

"No, I didn't notice." I say. "Why did you reach out to me that night?"

"I don't know."

"You knew my name, how?"

"I could feel it, like I knew you were there. I've never had that feeling, and I've never had the ability to talk to someone, and I haven't been able to since that night."

"What do you mean?"

"You know how I telepathically reached out to you?" I nod, "Well, I never did that before I reached out to you, and I've tried reaching out to you telepathically after that, but I haven't been able to."

"That's so weird."

"Things are weird here in the elements. Flamara said that sometimes our ancestors look after us and guide us when we need help." Khaleesi said. "But it goes both ways, if you need help in the good direction, you will be led by your good ancestors. If you are going down a dark path, your evil ancestors will help you down it. I think that is what happened to Kato, except they don't help much, only in times of need."

"Is that a royal thing?" I ask.

"I'm not sure, I know it is something Flamara said." Khaleesi says. I wonder if Hannah's ancestors brought her to me, or if I have someone looking out for me. We sit in silence, not knowing what to say.

"Can I ask you a question?" Khaleesi says with a smile.

"Sure?" I say.

"So is Jack your boyfriend?" Khaleesi asks. I blush.

"Um, I guess. I really like him, and I told him." I say.

"AWWW, so he finally told you he had a crush?" Khaleesi is obviously overjoyed by the news.

"Well, I said it first."

"WAIT, He told us that he told you first."

"Who's we?"

"Oh, uh Hannah, Flamara, and I had a bet on how long it would take for you two to get together."

"Seriously!" I laugh.
