The Lost Princess

Jack POV

I was watching the Guards take away Stella and Jane when I hear something happening across the room. I look over and see Kato fighting his Guards. He yells something at them, and they fall to the ground. He turns to Hannah and shouts, "You won't get away with this." and throws a dagger.

"HANNAH NO!" My Mom Screams.

Someone runs into Hannah and shoves her over and fires back at Kato and hits him in the shoulder. They both cry out in pain. I look at who saved Hannah and realize it's Glimmer.

"GLIMMER!" I yell and run to her and sit next to her. Kato's dagger hit her square in the stomach. She winces as she tries to sit up. "Hey, hey... just stay still." I whisper. She brings her hand to my cheek and smiles. I grab her hand and smile back. "It's ok, I got you."

"I know." She whispers. She takes a deep breath and sits up and kisses me. I hold onto her carefully and kiss her back. She leans back down, and I can see tears in her eyes.

"You, Jack, you can create portals correct?" Celestine asks, walking towards me.

"Yes, I can." I say.

"Take us to the crystal palace, NOW." She says, she looks desperate. "I can't lose someone else today." She whispers to me. I nod and create a portal.

"Glimmer, I am going to carry you through the portal." I say. She nods and grits her teeth. I pick her up carefully.

"Ahhh." Glimmer hisses in pain.

"I'm so, so sorry." I whisper back to her. The Queen and I walk through the portal into the medical area of the crystal palace.

"I need doctor Askaver, now! It's an emergency!" The Queen says. Nurses rush towards us. Two bring a stretcher and help me lay Glimmer on it. I can see her eyes fluttering, fighting the pain.

"Sir I need you to leave." A nurse says and escorts me out of the room. I follow her and stand in the waiting area.

I go back to the striker palace. Khaleesi come running over to me, crying. I embrace her in a hug.

"How, what- what did they say?" She asks.

"She's in pretty bad shape, but your mom knew a doctor that I think can help." I say. I let Khaleesi cry into my blood-stained shirt until the King of the Flamers comes over and clears his throat.

"We were able to contain Kato, Glimmer struck him in the shoulder." He said. "Your mother and Father went back to their palace to take care of your sister, it looks like she has a concussion from when Glimmer knocked her over."

"Thank you." I say to him.

"A trial will be help for the three traitors in a few weeks." He said. The king of the Natures comes over.

"We have decided to end this war, seeing that it was truly caused by the Strikers and their young, power hungry Queen. And she eventually was assisted by my daughter and Kato. So, there is no reason to further the casualties and cause more anger in the future" The natures King informs us. They both nod their heads in respect and walk away.

"Where should I go?" Khaleesi asks.

"You can stay with us, or with Flamara. Or, you can go home." I tell her. Flamara and her Mother walk over and stand beside King

"Thank you for taking care of Flamara, even though she lied about her location." The Queen says to us.

"No problem your majesty. Can I ask a request?" I say to her.

"Yes, go ahead." She replies.

"This is Khaleesi, daughter of the Crystallizers. Could she stay at your Palace until the Queen is ready for her to return, with everything going on with Glimmer I think it would help the Queen to not have to worry about too much." I ask her.

"Yes, she may stay with us." The Queen says and looks over at Flamara, happily.

Days have gone by after the battle. Hannah woke up a couple hours After I returned home. She has a concussion and a broken arm. Khaleesi has a sprained ankle, and so does Riff. Flamara has a bunch of cuts but nothing else. Today I get to go to the crystallizer Palace to see Glimmer. After a long few days, the doctor worked a miracle and kept her alive.

Today my parents said I can go to the crystallizer palace and check on Glimmer. First, I go to the Flamer Palace and pick up Khaleesi. She is ready to go home, her real home. We walk up to the Crystal palace gates and there are two guards.

"Are you Jack and Khaleesi?" One of them asks.

"Yes Sir." I answer.

"Welcome home, Princess." The other one says and extends his arm. She takes it and we walk inside. "I will show you to your new room, Princess Khaleesi." He says and Khaleesi smiles. I smile back at her; she looks so excited.

"Prince Jack, the Queen has requested to see you. Follow me." The guard that stayed informs me. he starts walking down stairs. I follow him to the medical area. The queen is there, she looks tired and has changed clothes. She is a loose dress and her hair is in a loose bun.

"Oh, Jack!" She says and runs and gives me hug. She practically collapses into me. I hold onto her; afraid she may fall.

"How is she?" I ask. She stands up and pulls away from the hug. She looks me in the eyes, she has the same eyes as Glimmer.

"She is good, stable. She woke up yesterday in a lot of pain. But she will survive." Celestine says. We stand in silence for a few awkward seconds. "I need to tell you something about Glimmer, and Khaleesi."

"What?" I ask. Celestine sits down in one of the lobby chairs; I sit next to her.

"Well I did a DNA test for the two, and they both came back positive." She said.

"Both?" I ask.

"Well, about 18 years ago, Jacine became more distant from me, he hardly talked to me, he was eating less and less with the family. I started to become lonely, even with two kids. When I was younger, I would leave the palace without my parent knowing and go to a local village. I had met a boy, his name was Jasper, and we would always meet up. I asked my Parents if I could marry him, but the said no. They said a Princess could not marry a common boy. So instead I married Jacine, a strong aristocrat. When Jacine became more distant, I would go back to Jasper and complained about life as Queen. One thing led to another and I was pregnant with another baby, and I knew it wasn't Jacine's. So, I hid the pregnancy, and used a magic orb to create a portal to earth, where I knew the baby was safe."

"And that baby was Glimmer." I say. She nods sadly.

"Not a day has gone by where I regret leaving her. So, I tried to bring her back, but your sister brought her back instead of me. But I guess it worked out." The Queen said.

"Wait, what about earth years? Wouldn't she be older, if this happened 18 years ago and she's 17?" I ask.

"Earth years are not faster than ours, that is a lie that is told to keep the elements from going to earth." The Queen laughs. I smile, Glimmer has the same laugh. The Queen sighs. "Glimmer does not know yet, but I will tell her eventually."

"Yeah, now is probably not a great time to tell her." I say.

"Do you want to see her?" The Queen asks.

"That would be great!" I say to her. She stands up and walks to Glimmers room. "She's in there." She says.

I open the door and walk in. Glimmer is sleeping on the hospital bed, peacefully.
